Angry Fans Slam ‘Entitled’ Kardashians for Hogging Disneyland Rides as Crowds Wait
Never known to shy away from the spotlight, the Kardashians have made headlines again for a trip to Disneyland last week. While visiting the theme park, the family received special treatment from Disney staff, and it has some onlookers pretty upset.
Though it’s common for celebrities to get VIP treatment at Disneyland, angry fans have labeled the Kardashians’ most recent outing as “embarrassing,” “entitled,” and “selfish.” Read on to see footage of what happened and the internet’s reaction.
Disneyland drama strikes again for the Kardashians
It’s not the first time the famous family has been in the news for something that happened at Disneyland. Khloé Kardashian recently admitted to photoshopping daughter True into Disneyland photos with her cousin, Chicago. The internet had long suspected Khloé’s photos of True and Chicago together at the theme park in December 2021 were fake, and TMZ recently confirmed suspicions.
But that’s not the only Disneyland drama the family has endured. On their now-defunct TV show, Keeping Up With the Kardashians, half-sisters Kylie Jenner and Kourtney Kardashian recalled getting into their biggest fight at the Disney theme park when they were children.
Most recently, however, everyone is talking about the VIP treatment Khloé and Kim Kardashian received when they visited Disneyland with their daughters.
The Kardashians hog Disneyland rides, and the internet responds
Last week, Kim and Khloé Kardashian visited Disneyland in California with their kids. And according to onlooker reports, the two moms and their daughters had an extra-special day. TikTok users filmed the family gleefully enjoying Dumbo and the Mad Tea Party rides all by themselves, forcing large crowds to wait longer for their turn.
Fellow theme park guest Rachael Kevin described how the celebrities cut the line and then made the “common folk” wait and watch as the stars enjoyed the rides alone.
“Not even Cardi B did this,” TikTok user Cal Jacobs remarked. “She just had her security guard ride a teacup.”
“Are they not embarrassed?” Kelsie Flaim added.
As virtually any celebrity visiting Disneyland would do, the Kardashians purchased VIP tickets to the park. Costing $3,000, the passes allow guests to skip the lines. It’s pretty much a necessity when you’re famous. However, the tickets do not let VIPs take over entire rides during regular park hours.
TMZ reports that Disneyland employees decided to shut down the two rides to other guests and provide exclusive access to the Kardashians. According to insider reports, Kim and Khloé didn’t ask to have the rides all to themselves.
Fans disappointed in the stars’ ‘selfish’ behavior
Though the Kardashians might not have demanded solo use of the Mad Tea Party and Dumbo rides, many observers have expressed disapproval that the celebrities allowed it to happen.
It “shows what kind of people they are, selfish and self-centered,” viewer Andrew Leduc said below Inside the Magic’s YouTube video of the incident.
Another commenter also expressed disgust that Kim and Khloé had no qualms about forcing hordes of other guests to wait. “They’re so entitled, it’s ridiculous,” Funtime Ballora wrote.
Despite the criticism, fans remain eager for more content about the Kardashians’ private lives. Although the long-running Keeping Up With the Kardashians ended in 2021 after a staggering 20 seasons, the family has quickly returned with a new series airing on Hulu.
The Kardashians covers the truth behind the headlines surrounding the family and reveals the reality of life in the spotlight. The series debuted on April 14, and new episodes air every Thursday.
