On May 29, Ant Anstead shared a few Instagram photos of his son Hudson. In the images, the English TV presenter took the 2-year-old shopping at a hardware store. The pictures showed them holding hands and picking out tools together.
“A holiday weekend isn’t complete without some DIY at home! And Hudzo is obsessed with tools, skills and craft! He has so many questions and he soaks it all up like a sponge!” Anstead wrote in the caption.
“Today we made some cool alterations to Temple, and we did it from scratch ourselves….” he added. “Temple” is the nickname Anstead gave his home in Laguna Beach. “My little apprentice x,” the Wheeler Dealers star concluded.
Anstead shares Hudson with his ex-wife, Flip or Flop star Christina Haack. The former couple is currently embroiled in a custody battle over the toddler.
Ant Anstead doesn’t want Christina Haack posting pictures of their son for ‘commercial endeavors’
While Ant Anstead is comfortable sharing photos of his son, he requested a court order preventing Christina Haack from posting pictures of Hudson for “commercial endeavors.”
Anstead filed for emergency custody of the toddler in April. In court documents obtained by TMZ, the Wheeler Dealers star claimed that Haack created a dangerous environment and put their son at medical risk.
He also said that his ex-wife is mostly absent from Hudson’s life, spending only “9 full days each month” with him for the past 20 months. Anstead requested to change the shared custody agreement to Haack getting alternating weekends with their child.
The English TV presenter also asked for an order disallowing Haack from posting their son on social media for any “commercial endeavor” without his permission.
The judge denied Anstead’s request for emergency custody, and a hearing is set for June 28.
