Ant Anstead Won’t Be Spending Christmas With Son Hudson After Split From Christina Anstead
Ant Anstead will be spending his Christmas apart from his 1-year-old son, Hudson. The little boy will celebrate with his mom and Ant’s ex, Christina Anstead. Meanwhile, the Wheeler Dealers host plans to travel to the U.K. to be with his two older children from an earlier relationship, he revealed in an interview with People published Dec. 16.

Ant and Christina married in December 2018 and welcomed Hudson, their first child together, in September 2019. But their romance was short-lived, and in September 2020, the Christina on the Coast star announced on Instagram she was splitting up with her husband of less than two years.
“Ant and I have made the difficult decision to separate,” she wrote. “We are grateful for each other and as always, our children will remain our priority.”
In addition to Hudson, Christina has two children, Brayden and Taylor, with her ex-husband and Flip or Flop co-host Tarek El Moussa.
The ‘Wheeler Dealers’ host says his older kids can’t visit the U.S. right now
Prior to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, Ant and his two eldest kids, daughter Amelie, 17, and son Archie, 14, made frequent trips between the U.S. and the U.K. to spend time together. But those visits have been curtailed in recent months.
“Unfortunately, Amelie and Archie don’t have any residential status, so they’re not actually allowed to enter the U.S.,” he said, calling the situation “incredibly frustrating.” He last spent in-person time with son and daughter over the summer.

Anstead told People he’s planning to hop on a plane so that he can see his kids and extended family.
“So, I have booked to go back to the U.K. for Christmas,” the 41-year-old said. “I’m going to get onto a plane, and I’m going to go and see Ams, Arch, and my folks, and my brothers,” he continues. “It’s going to be quite cool.”
Though he won’t be able to spend Christmas Day with Hudson, Ant said he’ll be getting some quality father-son time in before the holiday. He called himself “incredibly lucky” to be able to find a way to celebrate with all of his kids.
How will Christina Anstead spend the holiday?
So far, Christina hasn’t revealed anything about her Christmas plans. Last year, she and Ant celebrated with baby Hudson and Christina’s two kids, according to a report in Life & Style. The two older kids were apparently excited to make Hudson’s first Christmas a memorable one.
“There aren’t any jealousy issues — they all love spoiling him,” an insider told the magazine. “Taylor and Brayden picked out a ton of gifts for Hudson.”
