By the show’s last episodes, Sam realizes that the world needs a new hero like him. Fans applauded as Sam debuted in a blue, white, and red suit designed to incorporate the new vibranium version of the EXO-7 Falcon wings. With Sam taking up Cap’s shield in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, many wondered if Captain America 4, would be Sam’s first solo movie.

Anthony Mackie will officially return to the big screen as Sam Wilson in his first solo movie, Captain America 4. According to Deadline, Mackie officially closed on a deal to star in the movie. It is unclear if Sebastian Stan, who played Bucky Barnes in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, will be a part of the project.
