It’s not hard to see why Grande and Eilish have forged a connection. Their stories have a lot of similarities. As Biography explains, Grande started her career young. She started acting as a child, and she broke into TV when she was a teen, starring in the Nickelodeon series Victorious. But all along, her heart was in music, and she made the move to singing as soon as she could.

Grande has been a huge success in the music industry. Her debut album, Yours Truly, launched her as a pop star in 2013. Along the way, she’s experienced heartache, such as when a suicide bomber detonated a bomb at a concert she performed in England in 2017. But through it all, Grande has continued to create music and turn out hit albums.

Grande’s talent and strength made her a natural role model for another young singer.

Eilish is another pop star who came to fame at an early age. According to Biography, she was only 13 when she uploaded her song “Ocean Eyes” to Soundcloud. The song went viral, and it launched her into a music career that took the world by storm. Her unusual vocal style and musical talent made her a star.

Eilish has released several hit singles and albums, and in 2020 she broke an unusual record. It was announced that she had written and recorded the title track for a James Bond movie, making her the youngest artist to ever do so. She was only 18 years old.

With Eilish and Grande’s status as powerful women in the music industry, it’s only natural that they would be aware of each other. But Eilish’s admiration for her fellow singer goes back a long way.

According to Top Movie and TV, Eilish has made it clear that she’s always been a Grande fan. Her dad shared that when she was young, Eilish tried to imitate Grande’s singing style, learning how to hit the whistle notes of her early work.

That long history of admiration explains why Eilish gave Grande a huge shoutout at the 2020 Grammy Awards. She was accepting the award for Album of the Year for “everything i wanted,” but she felt that Grande should have been the one onstage. During her acceptance speech, she said so.

“Can I just say that I think Ariana deserves this,” Eilish said. “Thank U, Next got me through some sh*t. And I think it deserves more than anything in the world. I love you so much.”

Grande responded by blowing kisses back at the young star and telling her, “Take your moment, girl!”

The love fest between the two singers continues to this day. Eilish turns to her for advice as she navigates fame. She often talks about how much she admires Grande, and she has even said that she’d trade voices with her, because Grande’s voice is “f***ing crazy.”

Grande returns the love, complimenting Eilish’s work in interviews. She also drops comments on her Twitter feed, calling her “my sweet baby.”

People sometimes accuse stars of being competitive and cutthroat. But when it comes to Grande and Eilish, these stars share all the mutual admiration and support anyone could hope for.
