Doja Cat is trending once again, but this time, it’s not because of something she said online. Instead, it’s because she has been linked to rapper French Montana. On Sept. 30, rumors emerged that the two celebrities are romantically involved after they were recently spotted hanging out together with some friends.

Rumors of Doja Cat and French Montana potentially dating started to spread after a video surfaced online of them spending time together aboard a yacht.
In the video, the “Unforgettable” rapper was seen kicking back with a huge smile on his face as he donned a colorful Dior top and a new hairstyle.
The camera then panned over to Doja Cat, who was vibing out to some music while scrolling through her phone. When the person behind the camera called out her real name, Amala, the “Say So” hitmaker turned around and playfully stuck out her tongue.
Though the two stars seemed to be hanging out as just friends, many fans already assume that something romantic is brewing between them.
Neither French nor Doja has addressed the rumors so far, but seeing as the singer is known for keeping her love life private, the chances of her opening up about her relationship with the rapper are pretty slim.
Doja Cat isn’t the first high-profile celebrity French Montana has been linked to
French and Doja’s recent spotting comes amid reports that he had an affair with former Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes.
Madina Milana — who stars on Growing Up Hip Hop: New York — recently took to her Instagram to slam Leakes after the reality star called out her longtime pal Wendy Williams on social media.
As she was defending Williams against Leakes’ slander, Milana attacked the RHOA star, claiming she had a sexual encounter with French inside a car.
“Okay, NeNe, we’re gonna stop with these lies, we’re gonna stop with these games,” Milana said in the video. “Why don’t you start telling the truth? First of all, you snuck your way back into Wendy’s life, you tricked me.”
She continued, “Why don’t you talk about the part where when we was in the truck you was letting French Montana touch all up on your s***ch. A whole married woman.”
While it’s yet to be confirmed if Leakes and French actually did have an affair, she isn’t the only A-lister the rapper has been romantically linked to over the years.
In 2014, French began dating Keeping Up With the Kardashians star Khloé Kardashian following her split from ex-husband Lamar Odom. The pair were together a little under a year before calling it quits.
He’s also been linked to Basketball Wives star Evelyn Lozada, Australian rapper Iggy Azalea, and actor Sanaa Lathan, among others.
Update — Doja Cat set the record straight on French Montana dating rumors
Though fans were convinced there was something going on between Doja and French, the “Freak” singer recently took to Twitter to say that it’s not what it looks like.
On Oct. 1, the hitmaker tweeted, “Me and French got a song coming out. F–kin relax.”
