Recently, rumors have been swirling that Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott are back on— especially after they raised eyebrows with a series of steamy photos on Instagram.
While the snapshots made it appear that the exes have reconciled, it turns out that the A-listers actually aren’t back together after all and are still just friends, much to fans’ dismay.

On Oct. 1, 2019, multiple outlets reported that Jenner and Scott had ended their relationship after spending two and a half years together.
While neither party said much about what caused their breakup, sources claimed that the pair’s split boiled down to their conflicting interests.
“It’s not a firm split. They’ve been fighting again, but have still seen each other within this last month,” an insider explained to E! News at the time. “They fight over ridiculous things and Kylie can be very skeptical about Travis.”
But despite going their separate ways, Jenner and Scott remained committed to co-parenting their daughter, Stormi. As time went on, the exes kept their friendship intact and often came together to spend quality time with their little girl.
Jenner and Scott recently sparked reconciliation rumors — again
Since March 2020, Jenner and Scott have been fueling rumors that they have rekindled their romance following their 2019 split.
First, the makeup mogul shared a series of throwback images of the two looking cozy at an NBA game back in 2017. She also posted a photo of herself wearing a pair of sneakers the rapper had designed for Nike.
After that, Scott was seen quarantining with Jenner and Stormi inside her $36.5 million Holmby Hills mansion, which led many to believe that the exes had rekindled their relationship.
However, a source later told People that the pair weren’t back together and were comfortable being friends rather than romantic partners.
“Kylie and Travis get along. They enjoy hanging out with the same people,” the source said. “And they obviously spend a lot of time together with Stormi. Being co-parents seems to be working out better for them than being in a romantic relationship.”
While it seemed like chances of Jenner and Scott one day reuniting were slim, they have once again reignited reconciliation rumors — and this time, fans are pretty confident that the pair are back together.

On Oct. 17, Jenner posted two photos of herself and Scott posing together in what appeared to be her lavish mansion. The makeup mogul dazzled in a sheer dress with sparkly accents and a chocolate-colored jacket while Scott stood behind her in a beige T-shirt with leather pants.
In the second snapshot, the rapper ditched his shirt and showcased his abs as he and the Life of Kylie star leaned against a wall.
Jenner’s caption the post, “dress up with @matthewmwilliams @givenchyofficial, this collection is wow congrats !!! can’t wait to see more.”
After the photo was posted to social media, many were certain that Jenner and Scott were back together.
However, a source recently told E! News that the celebrities are still just friends.
“There’s nothing going on with them. They got along well and are great at co-parenting. They spend time together and have figured out a system that works well for them,” the source shared. “They enjoy being together and raising Stormi, but they are just friends. It works and there is no drama.”
While we’re a little disappointed that Jenner and Scott still haven’t rekindled their romance, we have a feeling that it’s only a matter of time before Stormi’s parents reunite for real.
