Who did Susan Olsen play on ‘The Brady Bunch’?
Like the Olsen twins, Susan Olsen became a household name when she was very young. At just under eight-years-old, Olsen was cast as Cindy Brady on the hit sitcom The Brady Bunch.
The show followed the Bradys, a large blended family consisting of a mother, father, and six children. Olsen played the youngest Brady sibling on the show, which ran for five seasons on ABC from 1969 to 1974.
Though many people loved The Brady Bunch’s wholesome tone, Olsen revealed in 2019 that she wasn’t a fan of the sitcom and hated being part of it.
“I never thought I would say this because when I was younger I was very rebellious and I really hated the fact that I was in such a wholesome show with American values and family values,” she explained to Fox News.
But despite hating the show when she was younger, Olsen did find that it opened doors for her.
“As far as careers go, you know, Cindy Brady has certainly been a good ambassador,” Olsen continued. “She opens doors, people have a nice feeling about me and they may not know why. [They say] ‘Gee, I just feel like I grew up with you.’ I’m like, ‘Oh, that’s nice.'”

Since Susan Olsen shares the same last name with one of the most famous twins in Hollywood, it would be easy to assume that she’s related to Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. She also has blonde hair like the Olsen twins, making it even more plausible that the former actor could be related to the fellow child stars.
But, it turns out that Susan Olsen is in no way related to Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. However, the twins still have a famous relative in Hollywood, and it’s someone whose new show on Disney+ is currently making entertainment headlines.

Though Mary-Kate and Ashley aren’t connected to Susan Olsen, they are related to fellow celebrity Elizabeth Olsen, who just so happens to be their younger sister.
For those of you who don’t know who Elizabeth Olsen is, she’s an actor who is best known for her portrayal of Wanda Maximoff / Scarlet Witch in the Marvel Cinematic Universe superhero films.
Olsen has co-starred in four Marvel films over the years and recently reprised her role of Wanda Maximoff in the new Disney+ miniseries WandaVision.
Though Mary-Kate and Ashley keep their personal lives to themselves, Elizabeth has previously opened up about her famous twin sisters.
Just recently, Elizabeth spoke about her “unique” experience growing up with famous sisters.
“It’s definitely not a lot of people’s average childhood, but I don’t know if any of us look back at our childhoods and think of any of them as average,” Olsen admitted on a recent episode of the U.K. talk show Lorraine. “I guess it was unique to me and my sisters’ experience.”
