Are Naomi Scott and Mena Massoud from ‘Aladdin’ a Couple in Real Life?

They’ve developed a close friendship
For the past few months, the world has been waiting to see Naomi Scott and Mena Massoud bring the love story of Princess Jasmine and Aladdin alive in the live-action remake of the Disney’s Aladdin.
Though Scott and Massoud really embodied the beloved Disney characters, their relationship off-screen can be described as just close friends.
During their time filming, the actors were able to develop a strong friendship that looks like it will last for years to come.
While sitting down with Entertainment Tonight Canada, Naomi Scott and Mena Massoud opened up about their friendship and how even when they were on set filming, they would always find reasons to spend time together.
“Mena and I were staying in the same apartment block and we’d hang out all of the time. I think that’s how you know, when you spend all day with someone and then you’re like ‘You want to go hang out?’ or ‘You want to go get food?’ that’s how you know you’ve got a good thing going on,” Scott shared.
Naomi and Mena have even showcased their sweet bond in public, as they attended the film’s premiere in LA on May 21.
Not only were they by each other’s side the entire night, but Massoud even helped his leading lady with her long dress while on the purple carpet.
However, the best moment of the night was when Mena leaned down and kissed Naomi on the forehead, showing the world that they are more like family than friends.
Naomi is a married woman
Though Naomi Scott and Mena Massoud have gotten really close while filming Aladdin, a romance couldn’t have possibly developed between the two, mainly because the British actress is happily married.
In 2014, Naomi Scott married soccer player Jordan Spence after four years of dating.
Spence has even accompanied his wive to several Aladdin premieres around the world.
Just from Scott’s Instagram, she and her husband live a very happy life together and look to fall more in love with each passing day.
From what we know so far, Mena Massoud is currently single and just enjoys spending time with his family and friends.
Even though there is no chance of the two actors ever becoming a couple, it’s good to see that their on-screen chemistry has helped them establish a strong bond in real-life.
