Some of Ariana Grande’s most popular holiday songs, including ‘Last Christmas’ and ‘Santa Tell Me’ are available for streaming on Spotify

She’s the artist behind songs like “Thank U, Next” and “No Tears Left To Cry.” Still, Ariana Grande has a handful of songs perfect for getting listeners into the holiday spirit. According to the number of streams on Spotify, “Santa Tell Me” is by far the most popular Ariana Grande Christmas song, with over 300 million plays. The artist released this song as a single in 2014, after the success of her first Christmas album, Christmas Kisses.

In 2015, Ariana Grande released her second Christmas album, entitled Christmas & Chill. Off this album, the song “Winter Things” has the highest number of plays, coming in at 46 million streams.

At this Disney event, Ariana Grande performed “Last Christmas” off of her Christmas Kisses album, released in 2013. She also performed one of her most popular holiday songs, “Santa Tell Me,” which was released as a single in 2014.

One of the artist’s most recent holiday projects is with Frozen II actress, Idina Menzel. Ariana Grande appeared on Menzel’s album, Christmas: A Season of Love, singing “A Hand for Mrs. Claus.” During one interview with Billboard, the artist described it as a “feminist” Christmas song.

“That was written by Bobby and Kristen Lopez, who are the composers of all the Frozen music,” Menzel said. “So I called them and I was like, ‘Would you guys write me an original song for a holiday album?’ And they were like, ‘Sure!’ And Kristen came back and she was like, ‘OK, I wrote you a feminist song, a feminist Christmas song that’s called “How About a Hand for Mrs. Claus,” because she never gets any respect.’ And then Ariana [Grande] was so generous in her crazy touring schedule to find time to record this song with me, and I’m indebted to her.”

Recently, artists like Kacey Musgraves and The Jonas Brothers released holiday music

Ariana Grande isn’t the only pop star with a Christmas album out. Recently, the Grammy-award winning country artist, Kacey Musgraves, released an Amazon-Prime exclusive holiday special. Songs from The Kacey Musgraves Christmas Show appear on a full-length album and feature artists like James Corden and Camila Cabello.

The Jonas Brothers previously released holiday music as solo artists. However, together, they recently released their song “Like It’s Christmas.” The single premiered in November 2019. Since then, it earned over 15 million streams on Spotify. Additionally, in December 2019, Taylor Swift premiered her song “Christmas Tree Farm” on most streaming platforms. (And yes, she actually did grow up on a Christmas tree farm.)

Music by Ariana Grande, including Christmas & Chill and Christmas Kisses, is available on Spotify, Apple Music, and most major streaming platforms.
