Is Arizona Cardinals Quarterback Kyler Murray Still Dating Entrepreneur Morgan LeMasters?
The Arizona Cardinals selected quarterback Kyler Murray with the No. 1 pick in the 2019 NFL Draft. The Heisman Trophy winner made an immediate impact, setting several Cardinals franchise records and was named Offensive Rookie of the Year. In addition, since Murray became the team’s signal caller, he has received multiple Pro Bowl selections and led the Cards to their first playoff appearance since 2015.
Now that Murray has become one of the most exciting players to watch, fans want to learn as much as they can about his life off the field too including who he’s in a relationship with.
Here’s what we know about Morgan LeMasters and the clue that they may not be together anymore.
Who is Morgan LeMasters?
Like Murray, LeMasters was born in Texas. And like the quarterback, she is an athlete as well.
She attended Allen High School, which is the same school Murray went to, and was a part of the cheerleading squad that won the National Championship in 2017.
After graduation, Le Masters reportedly had her own salon that provided hair and makeup services. Her LinkedIn currently says that she is “self-employed” but there isn’t a ton of other information out there about her.
Murray and LeMasters dated for several years
Murray and LeMasters met in high school and it’s believed that’s when they started dating.
They posed on the red carpet together at the NFL Honors in 2020 but kept mum about their relationship. Then in 2021, LeMasters posted a photo of them together on her Instagram. She has a pretty large social media following so the post was shared many times over. After it created a buzz with Cardinals fans about their romance, Lemasters deleted the snap and made her account private for some time to keep things under wraps.
Murray meanwhile has tried to keep his love life quiet ever since entering the league. The only time reporters even heard him mention the word “girlfriend” was when he spoke about not joining the then-Oakland Athletics as the baseball team selected him in the first round of the 2018 MLB Draft before he decided to enter the NFL Draft.
“At the end of the day, they drafted me, in my heart I’ll always feel like I’ll be an A just because they took the time to do that and obviously it’s a dream come true to be drafted No. 9, first-round to them,” he told Dallas Morning News regarding his choice to play football instead. “It was definitely tough. It’s not like breaking up with a girlfriend, but it was hard to have that conversation for sure.”
Clues Murray and LeMasters are not together anymore
Although neither ever commented on the status of their relationship, it appears that Murray and LeMasters are no longer together. The signs that they seem to have split up are evident on LeMasters’ Instagram page.
In May 2024, she posted several vacation pics and in one, she’s cozied up on a beach with a man who is not Murray. A few commenters asked her, “Where’s Kyler?” and “Did you separate?” But she didn’t respond.
Moreover, in another post on Sept. 17, LeMasters revealed that she decided to move to Hawaii, which is quite a distance to move if you’re in a relationship with someone who is based in Arizona.
In an Instagram post with another carousel of photos she wrote: “When people ask if I’m happy I moved to Hawaii, the short answer is yes. The real answer is … It’s healed parts of me I didn’t know I needed. I giggle and smile more, I feel this excitement for my little life. It’s the best decision I’ve ever made.”
