Ashley Tisdale Jokes About 1 of Her Infamous Red Carpet Looks on TikTok
Ashley Tisdale was a popular celebrity for tweens and teens of the 2000s. During those years, she attended many red carpet events and showed off a number of eye-catching outfits.
Tisdale has since made changes to her personal style, but she still remembers her Disney Channel days and the outfits she used to wear. The former High School Musical actor recently took to TikTok to poke fun at one of her infamous looks from 2005.
Ashley Tisdale once revealed why she wore some unusual outfits in the 2000s
Fans on social media love to talk about Tisdale’s unusual outfits from the 2000s, and the star herself does not shy away from this topic either.
In 2017, she opened up to People about her fashion choices, saying, “I grew up in front of everybody and experimented with clothes on the red carpet, so it’s different for me. All of the stuff you do as a younger person you’re doing in front of everyone, so there are probably tons of moments I look back on and cringe.”
Tisdale also shared that some of her outfits were styled by someone who worked with her on The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, which resulted in some interesting looks.
“My stylist at the time was my stylist for the TV series, which I learned very quickly you [shouldn’t do],” Tisdale explained. “They will just style you how you’re styled on your TV show so I looked like my character [Maddie Fitzpatrick] at all times when I was going out.”
Ashley Tisdale made a joke on TikTok about one of her 2005 looks
On Dec. 19, Tisdale took to TikTok to share a throwback photo of her at the 2005 premiere of Ice Princess.
In the photo, Tisdale could be seen wearing a white T-shirt over an aqua top. She paired that with a gold skirt, a pair of blue jeans, and a bag with a design of piano keys.
The audio Tisdale chose was a clip of Tyra Banks on America’s Next Top Model, where Banks could be heard saying, “It is so bad. I want to give you a zero, but that’s not possible. So, I give you a one.”
Tisdale also captioned the video with “When I decided to wear everything in my closet to a premiere.”
Which look does Ashley Tisdale think was her most cringe-worthy?
Although Tisdale acknowledges that her Ice Princess premiere outfit was on the bizarre side, it is by far not her most cringe-worthy outfit. According to her interview with People, the 31-year-old recalled regretting her outfit at the 2004 premiere of The Incredibles the most.
She said, “I wore this really weird pink camo skirt and this pink furry thing, I don’t even know what it was, but I said, ‘Ooh, put me in it!’ And instead of wearing it like you would normally wear it, I was like, ‘I am going to do it have one of my arms out and have it going across my body.’ It was the weirdest thing. At that point, you just have to laugh at yourself!”
