It hasn’t even been 24 hours since August Keen’s 911 call about Jenelle Evans was released. The couple isn’t wasting any time trying to get in front of the bad press, though. The Teen Mom star has spent the day posting happy thoughts about her man. Keen has stepped forward to issue a statement, too. According to the talent manager, the 911 call has been completely misconstrued.

August Keen has issued a statement about the now-infamous 911 call

August Keen’s Aug. 31 911 call was not, in fact, the end of his relationship with Jenelle Evans. After the Ashley Reality Roundup Group released the 911 call to the public, Keen took to Instagram to insist that the entire situation had been blown out of proportion. Apparently, nothing was ever really wrong between him and his girlfriend.

In an Instagram story, Keen insists that he only called 911 to help retrieve his belongings so he could head home. Despite claiming Evans had been hitting him all night long in the call, Keen insists there was no violence that evening that he called authorities. He went on to insist he was just trying to de-escalate a situation that was getting out of control. Keen also alleges he never accused Evans of doing drugs. He insisted Evans’ children were not around when the incident unfolded.

Jenelle Evans has confirmed the relationship, too

While Teen Mom fans find Keen’s statement a bit strange, it has confirmed that he and Evans are 100% still together, and apparently, it’s love. The talent manager who appeared on Teen Mom: The Next Chapter alongside Evans insists that he has the utmost love and respect for her. He insists he was never looking to get her in trouble.

Jenelle Evans Throws Shade at David Eason’s Age Gap Relationship

Evans’ posts, pointing out how attentive Keen is, confirm the love connection. Evans has spent months denying she was in a relationship. It is unclear if the pair live together. Still, followers wouldn’t put it past the mother of three. She moves notoriously fast in relationships, and despite the 911 call, they appear in a good place at the moment. That, of course, is always subject to change.

Evans moved her family to Las Vegas earlier this year. She initially suggested she moved to get away from her estranged husband, David Eason, but Teen Mom fans weren’t buying it. For months, viewers have assumed the big move was motivated by her relationship with Keen.
