During a visit with his doctor, Drew is told he will need to get Gina’s medical history on her father’s side. However, Gina says her father died, so it might be difficult to get this information. Drew’s doctor says the surgery can still be scheduled without the father’s medical history, but this could put her at risk. If she has a family history of clots or kidney stones, she could be in danger.

Drew tells Gina the news, but she’s not sure how she can get the information. According to Gina, her father died 20 years ago after he was hit by a train. “Just tell them that my dad was a jerk, but he was incredibly healthy,” says Gina. Drew suggests she talk to her stepmother, Charlene, but they’re not on good terms. After some coaxing, Gina agrees to get in touch with Charlene.

Although Gina doesn’t seem concerned about the medical history, Drew is worried. Gideon and Jerry say he should call off the surgery if he can’t get the information. However, others say he shouldn’t turn down a donor over lack of medical information.
