‘The Bachelor’: Is Andi Dorfman Married or Dating Now? An Update on the Former Bachelorette
The Bachelor: The Greatest Seasons — Ever! has been quite the journey. Now, the ABC series will wrap its grand finale with Juan Pablo Galavis’ rocky season. Of course, everyone’s excited to revisit fan-favorites, particularly The Bachelorette star Andi Dorfman because her season won’t be featured on the best-of show. So is Dorfman married or dating now? Here’s an update on the former reality star’s relationship status.
What happened to Andi Dorfman and Juan Pablo Galavis on ‘The Bachelor’?
Dorfman first appeared on The Bachelor franchise during Galavis’ season. She made it to the soccer player’s top three. But after her Fantasy Suite date, Dorfman self-eliminated.
“I realized that I wasn’t in love with you and I wasn’t going to be,” Dorfman said during the breakup. “Despite all the great feelings and the great adventures, it wasn’t going to work. So that’s a hard thing for me to realize after all this time.”
In response, Galavis simply told her it was “OK.” Though his nonchalant reaction reminded Dorfman why the relationship wasn’t going to work.
“It’s not OK. I left behind family and friends, a job,” Dorfman said. “When you say it’s OK, that bothers me.”
She later added, “I feel like I listen to you and I appreciate that you’ve liked me from week two. But that doesn’t seem real because you don’t even really know who I am … I want to die if I have to hear it’s OK again. I can’t handle it.”
Andi Dorfman got engaged to Josh Murray on ‘The Bachelorette’ Season 10
After Dorfman left Galavis on The Bachelor, she became The Bachelorette Season 10 lead. Then in the finale, she picked and got engaged to Josh Murray. Though the relationship didn’t last.
Nine months after her The Bachelorette finale aired on ABC, Dorfman and Murray announced their split. Then in her tell-all book, It’s Not Okay: Turning Heartbreak into Happily Never After, Dorfman went into detail about the breakup.
While filming The Bachelorette, Dorfman hooked up with Murray and runner-up Nick Viall during their respective Fantasy Suite dates. Then according to Us Weekly, Dorfman revealed Murray wanted to end the relationship if she slept with another contestant.
“That one sexual escapade would become a power play used by my fiancé to justify his mistrust in me,” Dorfman wrote in her book. “It would be an excuse to call me a whore. And it would eventually lead to the demise of my engagement.”
That said, Murray seemingly declined his ex’s claims. “It saddens me and is very unfortunate that Andi has chosen to characterize me in such a negative way,” he told Us Weekly. “I pray she finds peace.”
Andi Dorfman isn’t married now
It’s been years since Dorfman left The Bachelor franchise behind, and it seems she isn’t married or dating right now. But in mid-June 2020, the former bachelorette did make a major move from New York City to LA.
“An incredible chapter of my life,” Dorfman wrote on Instagram. “Now, I turn the page and know … that the rest is still unwritten.”
Around the same time, Dorfman was also spotted with Viall in Santa Monica. So naturally, some Bachelor Nation fans thought they were together. Nevertheless, Viall immediately shot down the rumors.
“Sorry for the buzz kill … not dating,” Viall wrote on Instagram. “Additionally, the only benefits that come from this friendship is conversation and running tips. Enjoy the day.”
Meanwhile, Dorfman recently hinted she’s single and open to dating in a fun Instagram post.
“Looking for my next boyfriend,” she wrote.
