‘The Bachelor’ Fans Are Telling Madison Prewett on Her Instagram She’s ‘Too Good for Peter [Weber]’
At the end of hometowns, Madison Prewett told bachelor Peter Weber she would leave the show if he slept with any of his contestants. During the dinner portion of their fantasy suite date, she checked in on her request. Weber admitted that he had “been intimate,” and she got up and walked away. The pilot went after her.
“I hate this situation right now. And I know how tough this is for you. I can’t lose you. Say something,” he said.
“I just felt really hurt in there and, like, I can’t change who I am. Like, I can’t change. I believe in, like, what I stand for and what I need. I can’t change that, you know? And I don’t want to feel bad for, like, having that and being that, you know?” she told him.
“Don’t walk away. Don’t. I know I’m not perfect. I’m not even close. If you can honestly see me and you together forever do not walk away. Please don’t. I know that I’ve hurt you and I’m sorry for that. But please don’t walk away from this. What do you need to do?” asked Weber.
The previews for the next episode show the remaining women asking, “Where’s Madison?” Some fans are hypothesizing that when Weber’s mother cries to him to “bring her home,” she’s speaking of Madison. Will she return? Will Weber go get her?
Madison has been a fan-favorite since early on in Weber’s season. But in the last couple weeks she’s been applauded for not compromising her beliefs. She’s also been criticized for not voicing those specific beliefs earlier.
“Listen. I really do like Madison, but she should have told Peter this waaaayyyy sooner. Not a week before a possible proposal?” tweeted one fan.

On Madison’s Instagram, fans are lining up to compliment the foster parent recruiter for walking away. Many of them are insisting she’s “too good for Peter.”
“u can do better than peter,” commented one fan.
“madi please don’t settle !!!” another one urged.
“she could do a lot better then Peter,” commented another Instagram user.
“Such true words! I feel like Madi needs someone who has a better relationship with God than what Peter has shown,” wrote another.
“You better not say yes if Peter proposes. He doesn’t deserve u,” wrote another.
Why Peter Weber hasn’t been a popular bachelor
Weber has been criticized a lot throughout his season of The Bachelor. First, for his indecisiveness (e.g. sending Alayah Benavidez home, bringing her back, sending her home again), and, more recently, for keeping controversial contestant Victoria Fuller. Fans have called Victoria F. manipulative and her relationship with Weber toxic. During their fantasy suite dinner, Weber said he “appreciates” how challenging his relationship with Victoria F. has been.
“I don’t necessarily want something to be so easy all the time and so monotone and not challenging,” he told her at the end of their dinner.
After that, fans are thinking he shouldn’t be with someone like Madison (or Hannah Ann Sluss, for that matter).
