 Clare Crawley and Dale Moss are done once again. The Bachelorette couple has made a habit of breaking up and making up since they got engaged on the show. But this time, the breakup seems to involve Bachelor in Paradise star Abigail Heringer. So, how is Abigail involved in all of this?

Dale and Clare got engaged just a few weeks after meeting. The pair first broke up in January.

“I wanted to share with you all that Clare and I have decided to go our separate ways,” Dale wrote on Instagram before deleting the post. “We appreciate the love and support we’ve received from so many people, but this is the healthiest decision for both of us at this time. We strongly believe in leading with love and always remaining true to oneself – something our families have taught and instilled in us throughout our lives. We only hope the best things for one another.”

However, by February, the two were back together and were seen in public kissing. Now, the pair have broken up once again and sources close to the two claim that this breakup is the real deal.

Why is Abigail Heringer involved in Clare Crawley’s breakup?

Fans may know Abigail from her short stint on Matt James’ season of The Bachelor, however, she has made more of a mark on Bachelor in Paradise. Abigail found herself entangled in the Clare/Dale drama when Clare tagged her in an Instagram post with a cryptic caption.

“I’m choosing not to speak right now on the details of my relationship because at the end of the day anyone can put on an ACT or throw words together to form any narrative they want,” Clare captioned the photo. “What I will speak on is emotionally and physically I’m going through a lot with healing from my recent [breast implant removal] surgery still, and my mother being placed on hospice care now. So my energy is focused on grieving, healing, and being present at home here in Sacramento while trying to share and help others going through similar life experiences as I’m sharing today. Many fans wondered if Clare tagging Abigail was confirmation of the rumors that Dale had hooked up with the BIP star. Clare has since untagged Abigail.

Did Abigail and Dale hook up?

One source told Us Weekly that Dale and Abigail had “hooked up” before BIP began filming. Abigail reportedly told her friends that she “was under the impression that [Moss] and Clare weren’t serious” at the time. The source claimed that Clare found out about the hookup via online rumors.

However, another source told the outlet that Abigail and Dale are just friends.

“They met once at flag football in New York City that a bunch of Bachelor people attended,” the source said. “Everyone went to a bar after, they did not sleep together. He’s never cheated on Clare. They never kissed or had sex. Dale is friends with Abigail.”

So, it remains unclear what really happened between the two.
