‘Bachelor in Paradise’: Brendan Denies Having a Relationship With Pieper to 2 Women
Contestants didn’t wait to make connections with each other in Bachelor in Paradise. That includes Brendan Morais, who was talking to Pieper James before filming. But when he was grilled about it on the show, he denied having a relationship with her.
Brendan Morais and Pieper James were rumored to be dating before ‘Bachelor in Paradise’
Brendan was a contestant on Clare Crawley and Tayshia Adams’ seasons of The Bachelorette. Pieper James was a contestant on Matt James’ season of The Bachelor.
They were reportedly dating in June. “Pieper and Brendan have been dating for a few weeks now,” a source told Us Weekly. “Either he’ll fly to New York and hang with her, or she’ll fly to Boston to hang with him. She was most recently in Boston over Memorial Day weekend, and they were even spotted out in public together.” The source claimed they’re keeping their relationship “under wraps.”
Brendan denies having a relationship with Pieper on ‘Bachelor in Paradise’
Brendan went on a date with Demi Burnett in the Aug. 23 episode of Bachelor in Paradise. But he let her know at the end that he’s seeing multiple people. She was upset at this because she felt like she wasted her date on him. The other women told Demi that he was seeing Pieper before the season started, too, so she confronted him.
“Pieper and I, we hung out. We spent some time together. We communicated, enjoyed each other’s company, and that’s that. There’s no relationship,” Brendan told her. Demi told him he shouldn’t waste people’s time like this. “I’m not in a relationship,” he said.
They went their separate ways, but then he talked to Natasha Parker. He told her he met Pieper about a month and a half ago, and they’ve hung out.
“We don’t have any labels on anything. I don’t know if she’s gonna be here or not,” he said. Brendan said he wanted this opportunity to get to know people on a deeper level. “My relationship with Pieper has just been super casual,” he said before adding he’s had deeper conversations with Natasha than with Pieper.
He said he likes spending time with her, and he has the strongest connection with her. Natasha was very happy about this. The episode ended with him giving her a rose.
Will Pieper join ‘Bachelor in Paradise’?
Reality Steve reported before the season started that Brendan and Pieper will make it to paradise. However, Pieper will come later in the season.
“I think it’s clear production purposely waited till Brendan gave his rose to someone else before deciding to bring Pieper in,” Reality Steve claimed. “But if they were already dating and this is pre-planned, gonna be interesting to see if they pretend like they weren’t, or if they just go with it and let everyone know.”
This won’t be the only love triangle this season. Joe Amabile is back and has made a connection with Serena Pitt. But it has been teased that his ex-girlfriend, Kendall Long, will also return later in the season.
