Ed was on The Bachelorette Season 16 with Clare Crawley and Tayshia Adams. The 37-year-old health care salesman from Miami, Florida, was a night one arrival. But even so, Ed faded into the background until Tayshia became the new lead.
As you might remember, Ed was involved in some of the drama with Chasen Nick. Ed accused Chasen of being there for the wrong reasons, which resulted in the “smedium shirt” argument. Ed also made a splash when he tried to sneak over to Tayshia’s room. But he accidentally ended up spending some time with Chris Harrison.
Meanwhile, Ed didn’t end up with Tayshia on The Bachelorette Season 16. He was eliminated in the ninth episode of the ABC reality series. Now, Ed is hoping to get another shot at love on Bachelor in Paradise Season 7.

In July, Ed was spotted with Demar Jackson, Connor Saeli, Dylan Barbour, and Ivan Hall. It also looks like Ed and Chasen were able to bury the hatchet because they were spotted together in April.
Meanwhile, Ed seemingly teased his appearance on Bachelor in Paradise. Following the Sept. 14 episode, BIP confirmed Ed’s arrival with Demar. Then Ed posted a photo of himself on Instagram.

Ahead of the new episode of Bachelor in Paradise on Sept. 21, the ABC reality series teased Ed and Natasha’s blossoming relationship. In the preview for episode 9, Natasha and Ed are spotted together kissing, and Natasha says she “could not be happier.” Then a new clip highlights the couple’s early connection.
“Hallelujah, the vibes are here!” Natasha says in a voiceover as she kisses Ed.
Then Ed gives a toast. “Cheers to us and fresh beginnings,” he says.
Now, Natasha has been through it all in Bachelor in Paradise Season 7. She just got out of Brendan Morais’ web of lies, and she ended a date with Dr. Joe Park without hope for their future. So will things work out between Natasha and Ed? According to Reality Steve’s BIP spoilers, there’s a lot of drama ahead.
On Sept. 30, the Bachelor Nation blogger claimed that Ed will eventually pick Mykenna Dorn over Natasha when she arrives on the beach. But Ed will allegedly leave Bachelor in Paradise single.
“Mykenna was one of the last people brought on the show, and went on a date with Ed Waisbrot (Clare/Tayshia’s season), they had a little fling before she ended it with him,” Reality Steve wrote.
