While many Bachelor in Paradise fans are hoping Mari and Kenny end up together and engaged in the finale, a few promos for episode 10 hint that there’s one more challenge ahead. In the preview for the Sept. 28 episode, Kenny suggests the spark isn’t there anymore.
“Early on, it was like passionate,” he says. “But it’s not there anymore.”
Then in another new BIP preview, Mari admits something is wrong when speaking with Serena Pitt and Abigail Heringer. Mari says things have been “kinda weird” with Kenny, revealing her partner wasn’t being his usual affectionate self. Mari also confronts Kenny about the situation, and he says they’re on different pages. Kenny says:
“I got a weird feeling the last two nights. I feel like I’m still in a different place than you are. If we’re going to get engaged, we both have to be pretty sure where we’re at. And I just still feel like you’re not sure. I just don’t want to get in over our heads thinking we’re in a place that we’re not. Do we need to pump the brakes a minute?”
At the end of the Bachelor in Paradise promo, Mari says she feels “blindsided” by her partner’s comments. However, it seems she doesn’t want to “pull back” like she did in the past.

On June 30, Reality Steve claimed Mari and Kenny got engaged in the Bachelor in Paradise Season 7 finale. It’s also possible the reality stars are still together now after filming. In late July, the franchise blogger reported that Kenny and Mari were seen together in Chicago post-BIP.
Of course, Bachelor Nation fans will have to watch Kenny and Mari’s story unfold as Bachelor in Paradise Season 7 nears its finale. But if the spoilers are correct, it seems love will prevail. So stay tuned.
