‘Bachelor in Paradise’: Kenny Braasch and Mari Pepin-Solis Discuss Future Kids, Marriage, and Moving In Together
Many Bachelor in Paradise fans fell head over heels for Kenny Braasch and Mari Pepin-Solis. The reality stars experienced a few bumps in the road early in the season. But they proved to be one of the strongest couples on the beach, ending their journey with a romantic engagement. Now, Mari and Kenny are sharing their future plans together, including kids, marriage, and moving to Chicago after BIP.
Do Kenny Braasch and Mari Pepin-Solis live together after ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ Season 7?
Following the Bachelor in Paradise Season 7 finale on Oct. 5, Kenny and Mari confirmed they do not live together. Mari still lives in Maryland, and Kenny currently resides in Chicago, Illinois. However, the engaged reality stars revealed they will be moving in together soon.
“I live in Maryland, and Kenny lives here in Chicago. So I will be moving here early next year,” Mari told Extra in October 2021. “Yeah, that’s just gonna be the first step.”
Then when speaking with Entertainment Tonight, Kenny shared how excited he is to share his city with his fiancée.
“We haven’t been able to sort of explore the city,” he said. “I want her to see some of the cool stuff [and] actually walk around and enjoy downtown Chicago.”
When will Mari Pepin-Solis and Kenny Braasch get married?
Given the accelerated timeline of The Bachelor franchise, many Paradise fans are wondering when Mari and Kenny plan to get married. But it seems the two aren’t in a rush to plan a wedding yet. In the above interview with Entertainment Tonight, Kenny suggested they need to figure out Mari’s move to Chicago before they think about marriage.
“We’re really just taking it one step at a time,” Kenny said. “Move to Chicago, live together… and then from there, we’ll probably start planning the other stuff.”
Then Mari hinted that she has a few ideas, teasing that the wedding will take place in Puerto Rico.
“I, of course, have my Pinterest board and all of my ideas,” Mari said. “But the one thing we have decided is that we agreed to get married in Puerto Rico where I’m from.”
She added, “So that’s super exciting. But we don’t have all of the details fleshed out just yet.”
When will Kenny Braasch and Mari Pepin-Solis have kids?
Following the Bachelor in Paradise finale, Mari and Kenny went on the Talking It Out podcast and revealed that they discussed the possibility of having children together during their second conversation on the beach. Mari shared that she asked Kenny about kids early on because she wanted them in her future.
“Obviously, if he didn’t want kids, then that’s something I would’ve had to consider,” Mari said, adding that Kenny told her he’s “open” to children.
Meanwhile, Kenny revealed Mari wants five children in the future, but teased that he thinks “one is fine.” Then in the above interview with Extra, Mari and Kenny noted that they don’t have a timeline to start a family yet.
“We haven’t specifically mapped it all out just yet,” Mari said. “But in the next couple of years, probably.”
It certainly seems like Kenny and Mari have planned their future out together after their engagement in Bachelor in Paradise Season 7. So let’s hope the two reality stars get their happily ever after.
