Sunday mornings just got a whole lot sweeter for Maurissa Gunn and Riley Christian from Bachelor in Paradise. The fan-favorite couple got engaged in the season 7 finale. So what’s next for the two reality stars? Recently, Riley and Maurissa shared their future plans, including marriage, kids, and moving in together after BIP.

Following the Bachelor in Paradise Season 7 finale, Riley and Maurissa revealed their next big step together will be moving to New York City. Currently, Maurissa lives in Atlanta, and Riley resides in New York. So they’re planning to call one place home.

“I’m trying to get her to New York. She’s in Atlanta right now,” Riley said on the Click Bait podcast on Oct. 7. “First thing’s first. I gotta get her and get her stuff over here to New York.”

Maurissa added, “I’m excited to see [New York]. I haven’t seen it yet.”

Riley and Maurissa also revealed that they still have to meet each other’s families and friends. So once they get their living situation sorted, it’s likely they will head to Detroit and Montana. 

“My family’s in Detroit. We gotta go take her to meet my people. Her family’s in Montana. So we gotta go way out there to meet them,” Riley said. “And I think it’s just gonna grow from there.”

When will Maurissa Gunn and Riley Christian get married?

Naturally, many Bachelor in Paradise fans are wondering when Riley and Maurissa will get married. But it doesn’t look like the reality stars are in a huge rush to plan a wedding. In an interview with Extra, Maurissa noted that she’s still going back and forth between Atlanta and New York. Then Riley suggested that marriage plans will happen once his fiancée is moved in.

“The plan is to get her to New York,” Riley said. “And then from there, we’ll meet the families and wedding plan and babies and all this good stuff.”

Then when speaking with BachelorNation.com, Riley shared the one thing he’ll have at his wedding with Maurissa.

“The one thing we both agree on for the wedding is that as long as the love is there, we’ll be happy,” he said. “As long as there’s love, family, friends, Bachelor Nation — bring them all!”

As Maurissa and Riley mentioned, they’re planning on having kids in the future. So when do the Bachelor in Paradise stars want to have children? In the above interview with Extra, Riley shared he was “ready whenever,” and he supported his fiancée’s decision. Maurissa also hinted that she’s hoping for a big family once they are settled.

“We want to get everything settled and have our wedding. I want to get a house, get our lives started,” Maurissa said. “I want a basketball team. So five or six.”
