When Riley came back to The Bachelor franchise, he chose to go on a date with Maurissa. The reality stars connected on multiple levels, and the chemistry was obvious. Maurissa also got vulnerable about her past. Then a few weeks later, it was Riley’s turn to open up. Now, it’s clear that Maurissa and Riley were ready to take that next step together. So are they headed for an engagement? We’ll have to wait and see.
‘Bachelor in Paradise’ suggests Riley Christian and Maurissa Gunn must have a serious chat in the finale
While Bachelor Nation fans have been certain about Riley and Maurissa’s fate in Bachelor in Paradise Season 7, the ABC reality series recently dropped a spoiler suggesting that the couple could break up in the finale. In the teaser, Maurissa says she wants to go to the Fantasy Suites. She also gushes over her relationship with Riley, revealing that she loves where they’re going together.
That said, the looming music in the BIP clip suggests otherwise. When Maurissa tells Riley she doesn’t want their relationship to end, Riley shares how he feels.
“I’ve loved my time in Paradise, and you have to know for sure if this is something we want to continue,” Riley says, adding that he’s been thinking about their relationship. Then he trails off.
‘Bachelor in Paradise’ Season 7 spoilers hint whether Riley Christian and Maurissa Gunn are still together and engaged
Although the Bachelor in Paradise clip indicated that Maurissa and Riley won’t end up engaged in the finale, Reality Steve’s spoilers suggest otherwise. Before the season premiere, the Bachelor Nation blogger claimed that Riley and Maurissa got engaged in the final episode, alongside two other couples.
Meanwhile, Reality Steve shared a spoiler update ahead of the Bachelor in Paradise finale on Oct. 5. Now, Maurissa and Riley are allegedly still engaged. The blogger also claimed that the other two couples — Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt as well as Mari Pepin-Solis and Kenny Braasch — are still together today.
Whatever happens between Riley and Maurissa in the Bachelor in Paradise Season 7 finale, the couple’s love story was certainly worth the watch. But we’re still hoping the spoilers come through and the two get their happily ever after.
Update: Maurissa and Riley got engaged in the Bachelor in Paradise finale. Then after the proposal, Maurissa posted an Instagram story revealing she is still with Riley, and she showed off her stunning engagement ring.
