Bachelor Nation fans can’t wait for Bachelor in Paradise 2022. The ABC series is officially returning in September 2022, and fan-favorite cast members from The Bachelor and The Bachelorette will hit the beach looking for love. Reality Steve recently released the first group of men and women in Paradise. Here’s who fans can expect to see in the Bachelor in Paradise Season 8 cast.
[Spoiler alert: Potential spoilers ahead regarding the Bachelor in Paradise 2022 cast and first few rose ceremonies.]
The newcomers to the ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ Season 8 cast, according to Reality Steve
The Bachelor and The Bachelorette bring in a wealth of new contestants with each season, and Bachelor in Paradise takes those contestants and brings them together for the potential of a romantic connection. Some Paradise cast members do multiple stints on the beach in the hopes of finding love. So, who joined the Bachelor in Paradise Season 8 cast as a newbie?
According to Reality Steve, Genevieve Parisi, Sierra Jackson, Kira Mengistu, Hunter Haag, Teddi Wright, Hailey Malles, Serene Russell, Jill Chin, and Shanae Ankney from Clayton Echard’s season of The Bachelor are this season’s contestants. Brittany Galvin from Matt James’ season also arrives. Victoria Fuller from Peter Weber’s season reportedly arrives after day one but before the first rose ceremony.
The new incoming men include Andrew Spencer, Michael Allio, and Justin Glaze from Katie Thurston’s season. Casey Woods, Brandon Jones, and Romeo Alexander from Michelle Young’s season are also rumored to be there. Jacob Rapini, Johnny DePhillipo, and Logan Palmer from Gabby Windey/Rachel Recchia’s season also reportedly arrive.
This cast member returns from a previous ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ season
Most of the incoming Bachelor in Paradise Season 8 cast members are brand new to the beach. But there is one returning cast member who got engaged in a previous Paradise season. Reality Steve confirmed Lace Morris from Ben Higgins’ season of The Bachelor also returns.
After failing to win Ben Higgins’ heart, Lace went on Bachelor in Paradise Season 3. There, she met Grant Kemp. The two got engaged on the show. Unfortunately, they called off their engagement in November 2016.
In 2017, Lace spoke to Entertainment Tonight about breaking off the engagement. “I respect Grant recognizing that we were in two different places,” Lace explained. “We just weren’t a good fit for each other at the time. … We do not talk. There is definitely not a chance for us to get back together after this.”
1 woman is reportedly making significant drama at rose ceremonies
This new batch of Bachelor in Paradise Season 8 cast members will surely bring the drama. And others will continue to arrive on the beach as the season progresses. According to a Reddit user, rumors suggest Shanae Ankney is already making enemies.
Reality Steve notes Aaron Clancy from Katie Thurston’s season arrives after the first rose ceremony. Genevieve and Aaron reportedly hit it off, but rumors suggest Shanae gives Aaron her rose first at the second rose ceremony. This causes outrage from Genevieve. “After the rose ceremony, Genevieve pulled Shanae to the side, and the two argued and Aaron had to break them up!” the rumors state. We’ll have to wait until the new season airs to see how it all plays out.
Bachelor in Paradise Season 8 premieres Sept. 27, 2022, on ABC.
