‘The Bachelor’: Chris Harrison Says Matt James’ Season Will Include a ‘Shocking Revelation’ That’s Never Been Seen Before
With The Bachelorette Season 16 officially behind us, fans across the nation are looking forward to The Bachelor Season 25 with Matt James. The journey begins on Monday, Jan. 4, 2021. And luckily, host Chris Harrison is around to hype up the new season, including a “shocking revelation” that’s never been seen on the show before.

On Dec. 11, Harrison formally introduced the cast of The Bachelor Season 25. Then when speaking with E! News after the announcement, the host delved deeper into his thoughts on James’ season and contestants. And of course, there’s going to be plenty of drama.
“Look, Matt James is a catch,” Harrison told the publication. “So when you have a prize like that, there’s gonna be drama. These women are strong, independent, beautiful women. They are used to getting what they want, and they want what they want. So there’s going to be a lot of drama.”
Harrison then teased an upcoming storyline that will surely rock the fandom. “There was a shocking revelation and dramatic storyline I’ve never seen before,” he said. “It’s going to kind of shake everybody. I can’t wait for it to play out.”

Now, Bachelor Nation fans will have to stay tuned to find out what Harrison is talking about. But in an interview with Extra, the host hinted at a few things viewers should keep an eye out for, including a Bachelor Nation alum and “Queen” Victoria Larson.
“I think a lot of people were talking about the queen, Queen Victoria,” Harrison said. “Look, she’ll make her mark. Will people love her? We’ll see. And you know, she definitely gets embroiled in some royal controversy. There is one controversy in particular, and how it works into the show is stunning. It is shocking, it is bizarre.”
He continued, “It’s not just with women on night one. There’s 32 women on night one. I can tell you this — that’s not all the women that will be on this season. There will be more, including a familiar face.”

While it seems The Bachelor Season 25 cast will be involved in some shocking moments, Harrison promised viewers that James will also deliver. Still speaking with Extra, the host revealed how the new bachelor will be different.
“There is so much depth and there are so many layers to this guy, the likes of which we’ve never really seen on The Bachelor,” Harrison said. “I mean, this goes deep.”
Then in the above interview with E! News, Harrison delved deeper into what Bachelor Nation fans can expect from James moving forward.
“There’s the fun, the drama, the silliness, and all that,” he said. “But there is a personal journey that he’s about to go on, and things he’s about to face, the likes of which we’ve never seen on this show — we’ve never embraced on this show.”
Harrison added, “Again, that’s just because of who Matt is. I give him a lot of credit for facing a lot of these issues. It’s going to be fascinating to watch and watch with Bachelor Nation.”
