What happened to ‘Queen’ Victoria Larson and Marylynn Sienna on ‘The Bachelor’ Season 25?
The drama between Marylynn and Victoria started in The Bachelor Season 25 Episode 2. While James went on his first one-on-one date with Bri Springs, Victoria got into it with the rest of the cast.
At one point, Victoria chose to pinpoint Marylynn, who was her roommate. Victoria claimed Marylynn was “rude” for wanting to “understand” her. Then Marylynn revealed what happened. “I said I would like to get to know each other so that we can better understand each other,” she said.
In a confessional, Victoria told producers Marylynn was “psychologically disturbed” and would rather sleep on the couch. Victoria also brought up the feud to James, claiming that Marylynn “cries to manipulate situations.” The conversation made the bachelor question Marylynn’s character.
When James questioned Marylynn, the contestant denied the allegations. “I’m not the type of person that would spite anyone,” she said. Then James was left confused.
Later, Marylynn spoke with Victoria, who refused to sit next to her Bachelor co-star. Marylynn pointed out that there was “a lot of miscommunication” and she apologized for hurting Victoria’s feelings. Marylynn also wanted to come to an understanding. However, Victoria took the conversation as an admission of guilt, and she wouldn’t move past the situation.
In a confessional with producers, Victoria claimed that Marylynn “bullied” her. Then Marylynn broke down in tears as she hugged Abigail Heringer. Meanwhile, the other cast members were confused by Victoria’s allegations against Marylynn. They were also annoyed by the drama because many contestants didn’t get time with James.
At the end of the rose ceremony on The Bachelor Season 25 Episode 3, James decided to keep Victoria for another week. However, he sent Marylynn home.
Rachel Lindsay reveals what Matt James said about Marylynn Sienna and Victoria Larson on ‘Bachelor Happy Hour’
Before ending the Victoria-Marylynn feud in the Jan. 18 episode, James briefly discussed the two contestants on the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast with Lindsay and Becca Kufrin.
In the Jan. 12 episode of the podcast, Lindsay and Kufrin joked about the orchid James gave Marylynn, as it seemed like a prop. However, James insisted he was trying to do something sweet for his contestant. “That flower was very hard to come across,” James said. “It was Marylynn’s favorite flower, and I had to go through great lengths to obtain that.”
Lindsay and Kufrin also shared their thoughts about Victoria. Lindsay pointed out that Bachelor villains have to be funny, which was something Victoria did not achieve. But James was surprised.
“Victoria is hilarious,” James said. “She is one of the wittiest people I’ve ever met. … She’s unapologetically herself. She’s the quickest. You’ll say something and she’s got something, and then she’s out.”
While James did not address the feud between Marylynn and Victoria on Bachelor Happy Hour, Lindsay revealed they actually spoke about the situation on the podcast. In the Jan. 15 episode of the Higher Learning podcast, Lindsay told co-host Van Lathan that James thought the way Victoria spoke to Marylynn was “funny.”
“We did have Matt James on my Bachelor podcast, and we talked about Victoria,” Lindsay said. The former bachelorette also added that James was surprised when Lindsay and Kufrin did not find the villain funny. So Lindsay asked James for a specific example from the show. Then according to Lindsay, James responded, “You didn’t think it was funny, the way that she talked to Marylynn?”
Lindsay also explained why she disagreed with James. “I don’t like to see a bully bulldoze over somebody who can’t defend themselves,” she said. “It was pitiful, it was painful to watch. He thought that was funny. I was shocked.”
