In case you need a refresher, Michelle is the 27-year-old teacher from Minnesota that arrived a few weeks into The Bachelor Season 25. The contestant joined the cast alongside Brittany Galvin, Ryan Claytor, Catalina Morales, and Kim Li. Then Michelle received a one-on-one date with Matt, and fans really saw the couple connect.
During Hometowns, Michelle’s mom and dad could see how Matt made their daughter feel. So when the contestant’s parents revealed they would support the relationship, Michelle’s confidence in Matt continued to grow. Michelle also told Matt she loved him during their Fantasy Suite date.
“To be able to tell Matt that I’m in love with him was such a relief,” Michelle told producers in a confessional interview. “I am in love with Matt and thinking about an engagement with him does not scare me. What scares me is the feeling of knowing that you don’t want to spend the rest of your life without that person, and so I’m hoping that Matt feels the same things that I am.”

On March 4, Reality Steve claimed Matt will break up with Michelle during their last date in The Bachelor finale. So it seems Matt and Michelle’s story did not end in an engagement. Meanwhile, Matt allegedly picks Rachael as his final rose. The blogger also claimed Matt and Rachael split up after the finale was filmed. But even so, Reality Steve suggested it’s unlikely Matt and Michelle will get back together.
“Haven’t heard anything in regards to him getting back together with Michelle or Bri [Springs], and there’s no chance for a reconciliation with Rachael,” Reality Steve wrote.

Update: In The Bachelor finale, Matt and Michelle broke up. Then during “After the Final Rose,” Michelle revealed she was no longer in love with Matt. She also wished Matt happiness as they said goodbye.
“I care about you,” Michelle told Matt. “You and me talking right now, I’ve already put it down. … I’m not in love like I was leaving the show.”
