Bachelor Nation Stars Congratulate Chris Harrison on Getting Married in Rumored Surprise Wedding
Chris Harrison is normally the one helping others find love. As the host of The Bachelor, he is well-versed at giving relationship guidance and attending weddings. But this time, people are wondering if Harrison himself got married.
Bachelor Nation congratulates Chris Harrison on getting married
Harrison has been dating Entertainment Tonight correspondent Lauren Zima for almost two years. Yesterday, Harrison posted a black and white photo of him and Zima in what appeared to be wedding attire. Though his caption alluded to him and Zima just being guests at a wedding, fans were still confused. Everyone wanted to know if Zima was Harrison’s wife.
“‘I’d stop the world and melt with you’ @laurenzima there’s no one I’d rather celebrate love with and I’ll be your plus one anytime,” Harrison captioned the photo.
Fans were even more confused by Bachelor Nation’s response to the picture.
“I just went full CSI mode on this pic and every word in caption and I still have no conclusion other than this is a beautiful picture of you two,” Jason Tartick wrote.
Other members of Bachlor Nation began congratulating Harrison and Zima.
“If you got married, I’m here for it and huge congratulations!!!! ❤️❤️
If not, I’m here for it too!! You two are a beautiful pair!” Trista Sutter wrote.
“Congrats!?!” Nick Viall commented.
“YESSSS!” Joelle Fletcher added.
“WAAAHHHHH!!! Congratulations!!! 😍😍😍😍 I was literally just thinking of you two 20 minutes before opening up IG and seeing this! The love vibes are radiating across the country,” Ashley Iaconetti Haibon wrote.
Are Lauren Zima and Chris Harrison married?
Eventually, Zima responded to all of the well wishes.
“I love you so much and appreciate all the ‘congrats’! This *bridesmaids* dress is really living above its potential,” she wrote, revealing that she was, in fact, not wearing a wedding dress in the photo and is not Harrison’s wife.
“Wow you attend one wedding together…do one chicken dance and your [sic] hitched!” Harrison commented. “Congrats Christine and Kevin on a beautiful wedding and the start of a wonderful life together. I do love this bridesmaid though [heart emoji].”
Chris and Rachel Lindsay’s interview
The photo marks only the second post of Harrison’s since he announced that he was taking a break from hosting The Bachelor. This announcement came after Harrison defended contestant Rachael Kirkconnell’s attendance at an old south plantation party.
“To the Black community, to the BIPOC community: I am so sorry. My words were harmful,” he wrote in an Instagram post. “I am listening, and I truly apologize for my ignorance and any pain it caused you. I want to give my heartfelt thanks to the people from these communities who I’ve had enlightening conversations with over the past few days, and I am so grateful to those who have reached out to help me on my path to anti-racism.”
As a result of his actions, Harrison did not attend the After the Final Rose ceremony for Matt James’ season and was replaced by former NFL player Emmanuel Acho. Harrison will also miss Katie Thurston’s season of The Bachelorette. Tayshia Adams and Kaitlyn Bristowe will guide Thurston through her season.
