‘The Bachelor’: Peter Weber Says ‘I Love You’ to This Many Contestants on His Season
We’re around the halfway mark of Peter Weber’s season of The Bachelor, which means we’re finally seeing who the real frontrunners are. The 24th season has been marred with an overwhelming amount of drama among the cast members. However, fans are hopeful the remainder of Weber’s journey will be packed with romantic moments and raw development in regards to the bachelor’s relationship with the contestants. And now — just as it’s all about to get real — Weber revealed how many contestants he said “I love you” to on his Bachelor season.
Peter Weber only said ‘I love you’ to one woman on his ‘Bachelor’ season
Prior to The Bachelor premiere, franchise host Chris Harrison revealed Weber’s season would be “sex A-positive.” Of course, this doesn’t exactly come as a surprise. During Hannah Brown’s season of The Bachelorette, Pilot Pete became known as the guy who hooked up with Brown four times in a windmill during Fantasy Suites.
Meanwhile, the season promos previewed Weber getting intimate with a few of his contestants. “Sex is very important for a relationship. I don’t know why there’s a taboo because it’s part of the relationship,” Weber said in The Bachelor Week 3 trailer.
But sex aside, Weber isn’t afraid of showing affection, even in front of the Bachelor cameras. The Delta pilot kissed a total of seven women in the premiere episode alone. Weber also seems to make the women he cares for to feel seen.
“He makes me feel like I am the most important person in the world,” Madison Prewett said in the sixth episode. “He’s super intentional, showing me how much he cares.”
Despite Weber’s confidence when displaying affection, the bachelor doesn’t necessarily say those three magic words to just anyone. When speaking with E! News on Feb. 5, Weber was asked how many women he said “I love you” to during The Bachelor.
“One,” Weber said with a smile. The 28-year-old also shared he has said “I love you” to three women in his lifetime.
Will Peter Weber receive his fairy tale ending on ‘The Bachelor’?
Weber became the next bachelor during the Bachelor in Paradise Season 6 finale. At the time, Weber expressed his gratitude and excitement for his journey.
“I have truly, my entire life, looked forward to finding my girl and that person that I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with,” Weber told host Chris Harrison. The bachelor was also hopeful the process would work out for him in the end.
“I’ve never done this before. So there’s gonna be ups and downs,” Weber said. “I know that’s coming, I’m not gonna be perfect. Just being in this position now and the possibility of making the wrong decisions… it’s out there. But I’m going to follow my heart.”
Now, in the above interview with E! News, Weber addressed whether or not he actually received his “fairy tale ending” in The Bachelor finale.
“I hope so. You guys, you know I wanted that more than anything,” Weber said.
But does this mean Weber found “The One”? Only time will tell. However, he appears satisfied with how the season concluded.
“I can’t say too much, but I’m happy with how it ended,” Weber said. “I followed my heart the entire time and I’m happy with that.”
That said, the bachelor admitted the final week was still hard of him. So there’s still plenty of drama ahead before Weber gets his happily ever after — whatever that may be.
“That last week was insanely difficult and it goes until the very last second,” Weber said. “I was faced with stuff up until the very end, and I never got a break. But I feel like I’m stronger for it.”
