‘The Bachelor’ Fans Are Afraid Who Wins Peter Weber’s Season Will Not Be as Exciting as Promos Suggest
The Bachelor Season 24 is coming to an end, and speculation about who wins Peter Weber’s heart in the finale is at an all-time high. Thus far, the last episode has yet to be spoiled. Meanwhile, everyone involved in the ABC reality series has been hyping up the ending ever since the premiere back in January. But now, as The Bachelor enters its ninth week — with Hannah Ann Sluss, Victoria Fuller, and Madison Prewett rounding out the final three — viewers are starting to doubt Weber’s final pick will truly be as wild as the show suggests.
Peter Weber and Chris Harrison tease ‘The Bachelor’ finale
Ahead of the Jan. 6 premiere of The Bachelor, Weber opened up about his journey during an interview with Access. The publication asked whether Weber’s season will end in a traditional Bachelor engagement or carving out his own path. And ultimately, the Delta pilot promised fans a “unique” ending.
“I, without a doubt, paved my own way,” Weber said. “Every love story has its own course and its own ending. Mine is definitely unique.”
He then teased his finale will remained unspoiled until it airs on ABC. “I’m really excited and confident no one’s gonna find out the ending,” Weber said. “We’re gonna live this journey with me. That’s the way it should be.”
Meanwhile, Bachelor Nation’s Chris Harrison hinted Weber’s winner will rise after a “wild, turbulent ending.”
“You won’t predict how this comes to a conclusion,” Harrison told The Hollywood Reporter. “It’s not one of those endings where you go, ‘Oh, this is the one. And this is this great, crazy long love story and she’s always been the one since the beginning. And it’s so simple and beautiful.’”
He continued: “It’s a wild ride. It is a turbulent, wild, emotional, gut-wrenching ride right up until the very end.”
‘The Bachelor’ fans come up with a simple theory about who wins Peter Weber’s season
Now, as The Bachelor Season 24 approaches week 9 on Feb. 24, viewers are still unspoiled. So naturally, everyone is buzzing on social media, speculating what could happen in Weber’s finale. Then in a thread on Reddit came up with a theory about who wins the bachelor’s heart this year.
“Peter keeps saying the ending is unique. Never happened before,” the fan wrote. “I’m going to be so pissed if it’s just something like ‘Hannah Ann gets the final rose. And never before has anyone on the bachelor gotten the first impression rose AND the final rose!’”
The Bachelor Nation fan then opened a discussion about Weber’s “unique ending” and asked others whether they think the finale “will be something this mundane” or something truly different. It seems many fans agreed the theory is plausible.
“They are 100% only saying it’s unique because of some minor detail,” a fan wrote. “IMO everyone expecting some grand unique ending are in for major disappointment. It’s gonna be a slightly different version of the CC ending.”
However, others weren’t quite as convinced, wondering whether there’s a deeper explanation for why spoilers for The Bachelor finale haven’t been revealed.
“No, because if it was that simple how would Reality Steve be unable to spoil that?” a fan wrote. Then the original poster responded, “Because it’s so stupid.” Hilarious.
But for the most part, many fans believe it could go either way. As a Reddit user explained, many “unique” endings have already played out on The Bachelor. The user brought up multiple examples, indicating Weber chasing after Madison would be too similar to happened with Colton Underwood. Meanwhile, dating both Madison and Hannah Ann would seem like Charlie O’Connell’s season. And the list goes on and on.
“All these endings have been done,” the fan wrote. “So unless they are talking about some minor detail being unique like the [first impression rose] being [the final pick] then it’ll have to [be] something totally crazy random unseen ending.”
Quite frankly, the mystery behind who wins Weber’s season of The Bachelor could end up being disappointing. It wouldn’t be the first time the ABC drama lead fans astray and because the finale is currently unspoiled, we simply don’t know. But even so, it appears Weber leaves the show in a good place.
“I can say I’m very happy with how everything turned out,” Weber told People in December. “And I’m very excited for everyone to tune in.”
