Whether you loved him or hated him on The Bachelorette Season 16, many viewers were entertained by Bennett Jordan. The Harvard graduate became a fan-favorite early on in the series. However, he rubbed audiences the wrong way after his argument with Noah Erb. Nevertheless, everyone is still wondering whether Bennett will join the Bachelor in Paradise Season 7 cast. So here’s what he said about the summer spinoff.

Bennett Jordan is from ‘The Bachelorette’ Season 16 with Tayshia Adams and Clare Crawley

At the start of The Bachelorette Season 16, Bachelor Nation fans turned to Bennett for comedic relief. The contestant poked fun at every situation, and viewers loved the commentary. Then when Tayshia Adams replaced Clare Crawley as the lead, Bennett became a little more than the show’s narrator.

Bennett won the grown *ss man challenge group date. He also started forming a connection with Adams. But even so, Bennett and Noah’s feud took center stage. The suitors also ended up on a dreaded two-on-one date, which led to Bennett’s elimination. They did not make amends during the “Men Tell All” special.

Meanwhile, Bennett came back after he was sent home. The contestant told Adams he was in love with her. But in the end, Adams eliminated Bennett in the next rose ceremony.

Chris Harrison previously hinted Bennett Jordan might be on ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ Season 7

While things didn’t work out for Bennett on The Bachelorette Season 16, host Chris Harrison hinted the franchise wanted to see the contestant on Bachelor in Paradise Season 7

“Casa de Bennett is already being built,” Harrison told Access in December 2020. “Obviously, we’re going to put Noah in a trailer out back.”

That said, the host also pointed out that viewers may not see every fan-favorite on BIP next season.

“We’re gonna have Peter [Weber’s] season and Matt James’ season. We’re gonna have Clare and Tayshia’s season, and we’re going to have another season of The Bachelorette. So we’re gonna have four seasons to pick from,” Harrison said. “We’re gonna have some all-stars that are sitting on the bench.”

‘The Bachelorette’: How Tayshia Adams Really Felt About Bennett Jordan’s Return and Elimination

For now, Bachelor Nation fans don’t know who will wash up on the shores of Paradise. But when speaking with Extra in December 2020, Bennett revealed he was hesitant about joining the BIP cast for season 7.

“There’s been some calls for a continuation on Bachelor in Paradise. I think that process really picks up in February and March. I’m not sure about that just yet for me,” Bennett said. “It’s flattering. It’s a nice opportunity. I just don’t know how I personally feel about kind of going and spending, you know, a month on the beach, and just sort of rapid-fire dating a bunch of people in a scenario like that.”

The Bachelorette star also questioned whether Bachelor in Paradise was the right place to find a lifelong partner.

“I am, more than anything, focused on finding a partner for myself for the rest of my life,” Bennett said. “I just don’t know if that positions me in the best place to be doing that.”

But whether Bennett ends up on Bachelor in Paradise Season 7, it seems the former is excited about all the opportunities that come with the franchise.

“I’m open to everything,” he said. “We can’t really start doing any of that until several months from now. But it’s flattering, and it’s cool. It’s exciting, it’s new for me.”
