The Bachelorette star Becca Kufrin is taking notes from current lead Clare Crawley. In the Oct. 20 episode of the ABC reality series, Crawley burned her turquoise dress from her breakup with Juan Pablo Galavis on The Bachelor. Now, Kufrin wants to do the same with her engagement dress from Arie Luyendyk Jr.’s season.

In The Bachelorette Season 16 Episode 2, Crawley went on an intimate one-on-one date with Jason Foster. The couple sat around a fire pit, and they opened up about their past selves. Jason admitted he was scared to let go. But Crawley reassured him she would stay on his side.

Meanwhile, Crawley shed her past with Galavis and The Bachelor by burning her dress from the finale.

“This is the dress I wore at the finale of the season of The Bachelor,” Crawley told her date. “One of the most difficult moments that I’ve had to face in my life. But I’ve gone through the healing. This dress, honestly, means nothing to me.”

On Oct. 21, Kufrin and Rachel Lindsay recapped the second week of Crawley’s Bachelorette journey on the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast. Then when the former leads got to Crawley’s date with Jason, Kufrin revealed she still has her black engagement dress from Luyendyk’s season of The Bachelor

“I loved the fact that they burned the dress, and I wanted to be there right there with them,” Kufrin said. “I still have my dress from The Bachelor season when I got engaged, too. It’s just sitting there. And I’m like, ‘I should’ve been there. Can I just have some of this extra timber?’”

Kufrin also shared a Bachelor Nation fan asked to take the engagement dress off her hands last year. However, the former bachelorette declined — and for good reason.

“Somebody actually DM’d me last year and she was getting married for the second time and wanted a black dress for the wedding,” Kufrin said. “And I’m like, ‘I don’t think you want that juju.’ Like I don’t think you want to walk down the aisle with this dress.”

In case you need a refresher, Luyendyk proposed to Kufrin in The Bachelor finale. However, Luyendyk dumped Kufrin on live television so he could go after his runner-up, Lauren Burnham. Meanwhile, Kufrin moved on to become the next bachelorette.

Regardless, it seems Kufrin finally knows what she’ll do with the dress after watching Crawley on The Bachelorette. “Gotta have a burn party,” Kufrin said and laughed. “In the past with my girlfriends back in Minnesota, we’ve had burn parties when people break up with somebody.”

Lindsay also supported her co-host and friend. “I’ll come over tonight and we’ll burn that sucker,” she said. “Let’s do it. We’ll plan it. To be continued, you guys. We will document on the socials.”

Will Juan Pablo Galavis Be on Clare Crawley’s Season of ‘The Bachelorette’?

It’s been over two years since Kufrin and Luyendyk broke up on The Bachelor Season 22, and both parties have since moved on. Luyendyk married Burnham in January 2019. They also welcomed their first baby girl, Alessi Ren Luyendyk, in May.

Meanwhile, Kufrin went on to The Bachelorette Season 14, where she met and got engaged to Garrett Yrigoyen. However, the couple recently called off their engagement. The news came after Yrigoyen doubled down on his “tone-deaf” Instagram post in support of law enforcement amid the Black Lives Matter protests.

“With a heavy heart, Garrett and I have come to the loving conclusion to end our engagement,” Kufrin wrote on Instagram in September 2020. “All that we will share is that we still have nothing but love and respect for one another even though we’ve decided to go down our own separate paths.”

Now, Kufrin is living her best life in LA, and it looks like she doesn’t regret her time on The Bachelor franchise.

“When people ask me if the Bachelor is ‘real’ or ‘really works,’ I always say yes. Because I found love in my friendships, and this girl is proof of how worthwhile that journey was,” Kufrin wrote on Instagram alongside a photo with Caroline Lunny.
