How many Bachelorette contestants get married? An impressive amount given its a TV show. Bachelorette contestants have been getting married since the first season. After the enormous success of The Bachelor, the network created a spinoff series, The Bachelorette. Trista Rehn became the first contestant for season 1 in 2003. She gave the final rose to sexy firefighter Ryan Sutter, and the couple married on a special scripted event aired by ABC.
Insider refers to the happily married couple as “perhaps the most successful of any ‘Bachelor’ or ‘Bachelorette’ couples in history.” Together for almost two decades, they share two children. Sutter reportedly “still has the Rose that Rehn gave him.”
Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried are still together, ‘The Bachelorette’ season 9
In 2015, Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried got married. The season 9 Bachelorette told US Magazine, “Once Chris and I got engaged, we started talking about the wedding right away – probably before the finale even aired.” They are another Bachelorette couple that are still together.
At the season finale, Siegfried proposed, presenting Hartsock with a stunning Neil Lane rose gold engagement ring that featured 200 diamonds. Still together, the Bachelor Nation couple has two children and lives in Portland, Oregon.
JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers are still together, ‘The Bachelorette’ season 12
In the season 12 finale of The Bachelorette, Jojo Fletcher and former NFL player Jordan Rodgers got engaged. That was five years ago, and although the couple is still together, they have not tied the knot.
According to Bachelor Nation, they planned to marry in June 2020, but the ceremony was postponed due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Fletcher said, “We would never sacrifice that day to just rush and get it done. So, if it can’t happen the way we want it to happen, we’ll do it when we can.”
Meanwhile, they enjoyed their five years of being together in an Instagram-filled vacation to Puerto Rico. They proclaimed they would “become husband and wife once the stars (finally!) align.”
Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo are still together, ‘The Bachelorette’ season 13
Rachel Lindsay shocked fans in season 13 of The Bachelorette when she dumped Peter Kraus and ended up in the arms of Bryan Abasolo. The duo married in 2019 without the cameras during a private ceremony in Mexico.
According to People, “the first Black Bachelorette” became involved in a controversial interview with Chris Harrison. The longtime host was accused of “perpetuating racism within the franchise.” Harrison announced he would be “taking a break from the show.”
Defending his wife, Abasolo said he “definitely lost respect” for Harrison “after watching that interview.” He doesn’t think the shamed host should leave the show but suggested Harrison needs to use his platform to “lead by example in this situation.” Abasolo added, “I just pray that we see that evolution from him play out for everyone to see.”
Tayshia Adams and Zac Clark are still together, ‘The Bachelorette’ season 16
In a shocking turn of events, Tayshia Adams ended up in the arms of Zac Clark after the original “Bachelorette,” Clare Crawley, fell for former NFL player Dale Moss. Crawley stepped down, and Adams moved into the spot of the next The Bachelorette contestant.
Page Six explained how Clark, the Jersey-born addiction specialist, “presented Adams with a 3.25-carat engagement ring from Neil Lane.” During the season 16 finale, he professed his love, saying, “Nothing has ever felt so right in my entire life. I love you, Tayshia.”
The adorable couple has not yet married, and while still wildly in love, Women’s Health reported Adams is not in a rush to get married. In a Good Morning America interview, she said, “We’re just going with the flow at the moment. We’re just ‘gonna date each other.”
