In The Bachelorette Season 17 Week 9, Katie went on three successful Hometown Dates with Greg Grippo, Blake Moynes, and Justin Glaze. But after meeting Greg’s family, Katie’s relationship with her frontrunner started to crumble.

In the end, Greg broke up with Katie and left the show. Then the bachelorette locked herself in her bathroom and revealed she wanted to quit.

“I want someone to book my flight home,” Katie told co-host Kaitlyn Bristowe.

While the week 9 episode of The Bachelorette suggested that Katie might quit during the finale, ABC recently released photos teasing the final rose ceremony in week 10. In the pictures, Katie stands alone in a stunning dress. A single rose is also displayed on a table next to her.

Of course, Bachelor Nation fans will just have to wait and see who Katie picks during her final rose ceremony — if she chooses anyone at all. The new photos don’t include any contestants. But whatever the case, it’s clear Katie doesn’t leave the show immediately after her conversation with Kaitlyn.

It also seems Katie will still have Kaitlyn and Tayshia Adams by her side in The Bachelorette finale. In one of the photos, the current lead is speaking with the two co-hosts. But whether Tayshia and Kaitlyn are prepping Katie for her new engagement or simply helping her end her journey, we know it’s going to be a wild ride.

“Expect the unexpected,” Katie told Access of her Bachelorette ending. “I’m not just saying that. It is so untraditional in what happens.”

Whatever happens during Katie’s final rose ceremony in The Bachelorette Season 17 finale, there are plenty of storylines left to unpack. Blake and Justin are still vying for Katie’s heart in the final episode. So at least one man will be sent home on Aug. 9.

Meanwhile, there’s one moment from the promos viewers haven’t seen yet. But ABC might’ve just revealed the scene will appear in the finale. When the network dropped the photos of Katie’s final rose ceremony, a behind-the-scenes picture of Tayshia was also released.

Tayshia is wearing a yellow dress that matches one from The Bachelorette midseason preview. The co-host also suggests someone might be saying goodbye earlier than expected.

“If you’re not ready for this, I think you just need to say goodbye,” Tayshia says in the trailer.

The promo then jumps to a shot of Blake. But for now, Bachelor Nation fans will just have to watch how this storyline unfolds. Tayshia’s outfit matches the one in the promo, which means the moment might appear in The Bachelorette finale. However, we still don’t know who Tayshia is talking to. There’s also a chance the editors will cut the scene. But whatever happens next, we know things are about to get real. Stay tuned.

The Bachelorette 2021 finale and “After the Final Rose” will be released on Monday, Aug. 9, 2021.
