‘The Bachelorette’: Hannah Brown Encourages Fans to Push Through ‘Painful’ Situations in an Inspiring Instagram Post
Hannah Brown is once again using her platform to inspire others after her time on The Bachelorette. On May 11, Brown reminisced about the day Jed Wyatt proposed to her in an Instagram post. Fans of The Bachelorette know Brown ended her engagement shortly after Wyatt proposed, but a year later Brown appreciates where she is in life, breakup and all. Because of this, Brown encouraged those reading the post to “keep moving” through “painful” situations.
Hannah Brown does not regret her ending of ‘The Bachelorette’
In Brown’s Instagram post, she admitted that she knew in her gut something was wrong the day Jed Wyatt proposed. However, Brown does not regret accepting the proposal and eventually breaking up with Wyatt because it led her to where she is today.
“I could fake a smile but I couldn’t shake the doubt, and looking back, I know why. That ending was not easy, but it was necessary to get me here,” she wrote in the Instagram post.
She encouraged others to move forward in her Instagram post
In an inspiring move, Brown focused the second half of her Instagram post on encouraging others through the lessons she learned. The former Bachelorette told fans to “keep moving” even if a situation feels painful, because eventually they will come out for the better, writing:
“If you are reading this right now, wondering how to navigate a situation that feels so painful and so not what you wanted, maybe you’ll let me tell you what I would’ve told myself: Hold on. Keep moving. You’re going to make it. This ain’t it but what’s coming is so much better.
Sometimes you’ve gotta walk through the shadows to stand in the sun. And trust me, you’ll really appreciate the way it feels shining down on you, too.”
Hannah Brown won ‘Dancing With the Stars’ after ‘The Bachelorette’
After breaking up with Wyatt, Brown went on to compete on ABC’s Dancing With the Stars. On Oct. 29, 2019, Brown admitted in an Instagram post that the dance competition challenged her and pushed her limits.
“This experience has been harder than I could have ever imagined. When I decided to do DWTS I thought it would be a fun way to channel all my energy after a whirlwind experience as the Bachelorette,” she wrote in the post. “I am busting my a**. I am giving this my all. It’s my focus and passion right now. But each week I fall flat. I’ve gotten to the point of being so anxious before I perform that I can’t completely enjoy it like I wish and know I could.”
While Dancing With the Stars was a challenge for Brown, she ended up winning Season 28 with her dance partner Alan Bersten. Once again, Brown showed her perseverance and ability to turn a negative into something positive.
Hannah Brown’s life is not what she thought it would be
In April 2020, Brown held an Instagram Live to talk with fans while she did her makeup. During the livestream, Brown admitted that she used to think she would be married and possibly ready for kids by this time. However, Brown has realized that she is enjoying being single and figuring out what she wants from life.
“If you would have asked me like a few years ago, I would have been, like, oh for sure by 25 I’m married. And possibly thinking about kids in the next, like trying to get pregnant right now probably. A lot of my friends have babies and they are the best moms, but I couldn’t imagine it, I’m not ready for that just yet. I mean, I could be. If something happened, I could be. But I’m still trying to figure out my life,” Brown said.
Since Brown’s season of The Bachelorette ended, Brown has consistently proven to be an inspiration to fans through her honesty. The reality star does not shy away from showing fans her difficult moments or expressing her doubts, but she does so in a way that empowers herself and others. In her newest Instagram post about how much she’s grown since Wyatt’s proposal, Brown once again demonstrated why she is so beloved by fans of The Bachelorette.
