‘The Bachelorette’: Hannah Brown’s Valentine’s Day Story on Instagram Is the Wholesome Content You Need Today
The Bachelor franchise is all about the love, so who better to check-in with on Valentine’s Day than The Bachelorette’s Hannah Brown? Hint: The answer is no one. A day ahead of Feb. 14, Brown delivered a truly wholesome story while sharing her Valentine’s Day plans on Instagram. And quite frankly, you won’t be disappointed, especially if you’re desperately trying to grasp onto some joy through Singles Awareness Day on the 15th.
Hannah Brown shares a Valentine’s Day story on Instagram
On Feb. 13, Brown posted on her Instagram Story and gushed over her new Valentine — sort of.
“I just have to tell y’all how my day was made,” Brown said, beaming. It then took the former bachelorette a few takes, as she stumbled on her words a few times, clearly excited about the events that just unfolded before her. Though it was nowhere near the “finasco” witnessed on Peter Weber’s season of The Bachelor. But we digress.
Brown explained she went to Bluestone Lane to grab some coffee before heading home. First, she saw her favorite person who works at the valet and received a good spot — a rarity in Los Angeles.
Then Brown said she previously looked up how to deliver flowers to herself as she planned to be her own Valentine. But at Bluestone Lane, Brown saw some flowers and decided to buy those for herself instead. When the barista wrapped up the flowers, he told Brown he would cover the cost.
“I got my Valentine,” Brown said.
Meanwhile, upon her exit, Brown’s favorite valet told the 25-year-old her smile was all he needed to see that day.
“There are good men out in the world,” Brown exclaimed. She also wrote the valet and barista “created hope” for her in the video’s caption.
Is Hannah Brown single after ‘The Bachelor’?
While Brown’s burst of gratitude on social media was refreshing to see, her Instagram Story also revealed the former bachelorette planned on being her own Valentine on Feb. 14. Of course, this may come as a surprise to some fans holding out hope for Brown’s return in Weber’s Bachelor finale.
That said, when speaking with Entertainment Tonight, Brown couldn’t confirm or deny her involvement with the ending.
“You have to keep watching. Isn’t that what we have to say? I do not know,” she said.
Brown also added she will “always care for [Weber] deeply.” Nevertheless, the former bachelorette has been open about her single status for some time. In late January, Brown answered a few fan questions on Instagram live, where she confirmed she isn’t with Weber now.
“Am I dating anyone? Nope,” Brown said.
But even so, don’t expect Brown’s single status to keep her from thriving in the industry. Like choosing to become her own Valentine, the 25-year-old is taking control of her career.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight in December, Brown shared she wants to continue living a “crazy life” that is “booked and busy.”
“I’m going to keep doing what I gotta do to work and gain more experience and knowledge,” she said. “2020 is going to be my year.”
We may also witness Brown becoming the bachelorette again. But when speaking with Entertainment Tonight in late January, the former lead hinted she may want to carve her own path outside of the franchise. But like always, Bachelor Nation fans will just have to wait and see what unfolds.
“I don’t know [if I’d be the bachelorette again],” Brown said. “There is that like, weird… a desire in my heart to find somebody. Do I have to do that as being the bachelorette? No. But it is something that can work and has worked for other people.”
