It’s been a hot minute since The Bachelorette fans thought about Hannah Brown and Jed Wyatt. Now, Wyatt has something to say about his experience with The Bachelor franchise as well as his relationship with Brown — and his ex-girlfriend, Haley Stevens. So, here’s what the former contestant revealed on Instagram.

What happened to Jed Wyatt and Hannah Brown on ‘The Bachelorette’ Season 15?

Throughout The Bachelorette Season 15, Bachelor Nation fans watched Brown fall in love with Wyatt. The lead gave her contestant the final rose. Then Brown and Wyatt got engaged. That said, it wasn’t exactly happily ever after.

In The Bachelorette finale, Brown revealed Wyatt admitted to having a girlfriend a week before the show. But, he claimed they broke it off. Then a few weeks later, People interviewed Stevens, unveiling a different story. According to Stevens, Wyatt told her they would still be together after filming the show.

“He told me the show was just an obstacle and we’d be stronger on the other side because of it,” Stevens said. “The hardest part was that he ghosted me.”

Meanwhile, Brown broke up with Wyatt in The Bachelorette finale.

“I am not with Jed anymore,” Brown told host Chris Harrison in 2019. “The engagement’s over. We’re not together. That’s not what I said yes to.”

Now, it’s been a few years since Brown and Wyatt were on The Bachelorette. But, on Jan. 31, Dylan Barbour from The Bachelorette Season 15 and Bachelor in Paradise Season 6 called out the franchise during a Twitter Q&A

“They need you until they don’t,” Barbour wrote in a since-deleted tweet. “Each person is a pawn in a larger scheme, and they do not have [the] contestants’ best interests in mind. Mental health is not a concern. Multiple people develop issues post-show and they do nothing to help. If anything, they fuel hate.”

Then, in a turn of events, Barbour brought up Wyatt. Barbour claimed Wyatt was the “most screwed over by production” during their Bachelorette season. He also suggested that Wyatt didn’t cheat on Brown.

Meanwhile, Wyatt revealed he planned to address the claims in the future. However, he briefly touched on the franchise in his Instagram Stories.

“I will actually be going into deeper detail, but the facts are this,” Wyatt said. “Yes, I was highly manipulated, and from it, deeply mentally affected from the show.”

He added, “No, I never cheated. Ever. On Haley or Hannah.”

Wyatt also provided Bachelor Nation fans with an update, revealing his plans to tell the story on his new podcast on Feb. 2.

“I just finished recording the episode,” Wyatt said. “It got really deep, and I touched on everything I feel that everyone has been wondering and asking.”
