Who is Heather McMahan?

McMahan is a popular stand-up comic who has a huge social media following. The comedian provides fun and laughter on Instagram with hilarious bits that have her followers smiling all day. One of McMahan’s favorite parodies is the one featuring Garten. McMahan dresses up as McMahan and mimics the Food Network star to perfection.

When McMahan made an appearance on Watch What Happens Live, one of the fans had a question for the comic. As the star is a fan of Bravo and The Real Housewives, they asked if she could improvise a tagline for Garten.

Without hesitation, McMahan said what Garten’s tagline would be if she would ever be cast on one of the hit franchises.

“I don’t just drink the wine, I own the vineyard because I’m rich AF,” she said.

The tagline was well-received by Andy Cohen and Dolores Catania from The Real Housewives of New Jersey.

“That’s good,” Catania said of Garten’s would-be tagline that McMahan made up.

Ina Garten teams up with Melissa McCarthy

Garten is loved by many and she has teamed up with Melissa McCarthy on a new special for discovery+ called Cocktails and Tall Tales. The former Gilmore Girls actress was excited to share a project with the kitchen queen and had fun shooting the show.

“I couldn’t have imagined how it would feel to cross Cocktails with Ina Garten off my bucket list but let me tell you, second only to the day my babies were born, it was pretty much the best day of my life,” McCarthy told Entertainment Tonight in a statement. “Ina and Jeffrey were so wonderfully easy to talk to and we enjoyed every minute of our time together. I am already planning our group vacation to Paris.”

However, McCarthy was not the only one excited about working with the Barefoot Contessa star, Garten was equally excited with the honor.

“Melissa is such a funny and brilliant person and someone I always wanted to meet, but how many people can say they first met Melissa McCarthy over Zoom with a fresh whiskey sour in hand — during a pandemic!?” she told the outlet.

The encounter came to be thanks to technology as both celebrities were miles away from each other. Over a Zoom connection, Garten logged in from her home in East Hampton, while McCarthy did the same but from Australia where she’s shooting a new show.
