Becky G and BTS’s J-Hope Confirm Secret “CNS” Collab and No, ARMY Is Not Okay
Who needs sleep when BTS is back and dropping hints about their next collaboration with Becky G? The answer is no one. During an extended period of rest, BTS’s J-Hope was spotted leaving Incheon International Airport without his other members — RM, Jin, Suga, Jimin, V, and Jungkook.
The Hope World mastermind was reportedly headed to Los Angeles for overseas promotion — aka “important business.” Meanwhile, Becky G posted a video of Korean snacks. Of course, BTS fans believed this hinted at a long-awaited collaboration between Becky G and J-Hope. Now, it looks like the two artists have confirmed a new secret “CNS” collab on Twitter. And basically, ARMY’s central nervous system is firing off at rapid rates.

On Sept. 25, Becky G teased her fans with “Soooo… #BeckyHasAnotherSecret.” She simply ended the tweet with a black heart emoji. So at the time, this could have hinted at a follow-up to her latest single — titled “Secrets.” But shortly after the “Dollar” singer made her statement, the BTS account — presumably in the hands of J-Hope — retweeted the post.
Moments later, the BTS Twitter account also wrote, “Hey @iambeckyg, I have a secret, too.” The tweet then signed off with a thread of emojis and the cryptic hashtag “CNS.” Later, Becky G retweeted the BTS post, adding her own line of mysterious emojis and #CNS. Thus, teasing fans even further. And the internet hasn’t heard from either camp since.
Fans react to the collab announcement
For now, the collaboration between the two artists has seemingly been confirmed. Naturally, fans from both sides flocked social media to give their opinions. And for the most part, everyone is excited.
One Twitter user wrote, “IF BECKY G AND HOSEOK ARE IN A SONG TOGETHER AND THEY FILMED THE MUSIC VIDEO WHEN HE CAME TO LA AND WE GET HOSEOK IN A SONG WITH LATIN BEATS IM GONNA LOSE MY HEAD AND IF HE SAYS ANYTHING IN SPANISH I WONT LIVE TO SEE ANOTHER DAY.”
Fans also began speculating the meaning behind “CNS” and what’s coming when the Becky G and BTS collab is released. “OKAY, but what if Hoseok sings/raps in Spanish?? What will we do? Will anyone survive? And if he sings in Spanish while dancing, I will ascend,” a Reddit fan shared. “Pls play the song during my funeral.”
Meanwhile, other fans expressed the overwhelming amount of content coming from the BTS camp in the upcoming months.
“@BTS_twt debuting their tiktok account and now Jhope and Becky G hinting at their collab #CNS,” a fan wrote on Twitter. “If this doesn’t scream comeback season idk what does. I wouldn’t be surprised if we started getting concept photos and trailers in the next two weeks…HELP ME.”
When will BTS’s J-Hope and Becky G “CNS” collaboration be released?
Plenty of rumors have been circulating within the BTS fandom since J-Hope and Becky G left the internet in shambles on Sept. 25. And while members of ARMY have been speculating what “CNS” means, many fans seem to think the hashtag is an acronym for “Chicken Noodle Soup.”
On the morning of Sept. 26, Noise11.com unveiled new music releases for the week of Sept. 27. The list also included J-Hope and Becky G’s collaboration. According to the website, the track will be titled “Chicken Noodle Soup” and be released under Big Hit Entertainment on Sept. 27.
That being said, neither BTS nor Becky G has spoken up in regards to the track title and release date. Therefore, fans will just have to wait and see what actually happens. Regardless, it looks like another sleepless night is coming for fans of BTS and Becky G. So stay tuned.
