Hailey Bieber is the daughter of Stephen Baldwin and his wife, Kennya.
On her mother’s side, Hailey Bieber comes from a musical legacy. Her grandfather, Eumir Deodato, is an accomplished bossa nova legend from Rio de Janeiro, according to Remezcla. Deodato is a Grammy-winning artist who “has collaborated with Frank Sinatra, Björk, and Kool and the Gang.”

Deodato said he doesn’t see much of his busy granddaughter. But he did take some time to listen to Justin Bieber’s music and weigh in with an opinion back in 2018 when the pair were still dating. “I know a little bit about his music. He has some interesting stuff,” he said. However, he hadn’t yet met the “Peaches” artist.
Those comments came shortly before the young lovebirds tied the knot. As E! Online reports, they made it official in September 2018 in a courthouse ceremony before holding a formal event a year later. The pair have now been happily married for nearly years and maintain what appears to be a strong relationship.

Justin and Hailey Bieber first met way back in 2009. At the time, they were both just teenagers, and Hailey was a fan of Justin’s. They met through their families. Later, they were both members of the famous Hillsong church and circulated in overlapping celebrity social groups. Bonding through their faith, the pair eventually began dating but broke up in 2016.
When they reunited in 2018, things were on the fast track. They were married within months of getting back together, and many pointed to their youth and Justin Bieber’s past controversies as evidence that the relationship would not last. At the time, Hailey Bieber pushed back on the commentary. “I think any relationship can fail, Hollywood or not,” she told Elle. “Is it harder in the public eye? Absolutely.
