Audiences watched Gino and Jasmine celebrate their first Christmas together in Before the 90 Days Season 5 Episode 5. Jasmine seemingly put a lot of thought into the presents she bought for Gino. However, Gino couldn’t say the same. When Jasmine asked for her gift from Gino, he awkwardly stumbled over his words. Then he admitted he gave Jasmine her Christmas present when he arrived.
It was an electric toothbrush.
Unsurprisingly, Jasmine felt disappointed at the gift, but that disappointment quickly shifted to anger when fans arrived at the next episode. In Before the 90 Days Season 5 Episode 6, Jasmine explained to Gino how he needed to make it up to her – a $2500 island getaway for the two of them.
Fans don’t think Gino is as clueless as he pretends to be
At first, Before the 90 Days Season 5 fans believed Gino was out of his league with a woman like Jasmine, but the past episode has fans thinking otherwise. Too many moments have led to blowups that Gino could have easily avoided.
One Redditor wrote, “There’s just something about the way Gino says things and reacts that makes me feel like he’s perhaps triggering Jasmine deliberately because he wants to paint himself to be the good generous guy who is scared of his “crazy” gold digging girlfriend. Despite how utterly ridiculous she seems, she just strikes me as somewhat more genuine. I mean especially the whole thing with him giving her a toothbrush the first time they met and saying that’s her Christmas gift made me roll my eyes. I can think of a million things that cost less but would’ve made for a better gift and made me feel like he did it deliberately to get a rise out of her.”
