Captain Lee Rosbach from Below Deck offered comforting words to fans who are quarantined due to the coronavirus.

Rosbach returned home to Fort Lauderdale, Florida after filming season 8 of Below Deck. Production is rumored to have halted early due to the virus threat, shutting down two charters early. Rosbach started tweeting and sharing on social media as he returned, sharing a photo of an empty beach near his home.

“Not a swinging dik onFt Lauderdale Beach,” he observed and shared a photo. Spring Break 2020 brought to you by #coronavirus. All beach goers banned. Today at 5 pm all restaurants and bars close for 30 days. Be safe and use common sense peeps.” He also shared a cute video of his dog Oscar, who was waiting for him to return home.

We’ll get through this

Rosbach posted a new video to Instagram telling fans to be safe and “we’re going to get through this.” He sits on his bicycle next to his red sports car in his driveway. Birds can be heard chirping in the background as Rosbach notes that he can hear “Mother Nature.”

He shares that he plans to go for a solitary bike ride and advises everyone to be at their best. Stay safe and practice social distancing. Rosbach looks calm and relaxed as he delivers his message in a reassuring tone. Ending with, “And hang in there, we’re going to get through this, alright?”

Along with the video, he also wrote, “Everybody just needs to do what is right. You can never go wrong doing the right thing. WTFU. Now is the time. This is something you can’t phone in. Do the right thing and do it now.”

Fans reacted and added that everyone needs to take Rosbach’s advice and to stay home and stay safe. “Exactly! Everyone needs to take this seriously. It’s not about whether you get it and it’s a mild case.. it’s about being a carrier to many others. Think of it this way. Just stay home now and this will die out sooner and you will be saving lives. Keep going out and this thing will last wayyyyyy longer and many more will die! Look at the bigger picture Please I’m begging everyone! Stay safe capt. lee! Love you and your whole crew and family. 🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️❤️”

America’s Dad

Twitter followers thanked Rosbach for being the voice of reason during the crisis. “Captain Lee for President, you feel like ‘America’s Dad’ and I think I felt about 4 just listening to you say ‘we are all gonna get through this, alright? We are gonna be ok’ And then a sense of calm comes across you after hearing your reassurances. Thanks!” one person tweeted.

Another person added, “Yes Captain Lee your Instagram post was so reassuring that we would all make it through this. I’m saying my prayers every night.” More fans felt reassured by Rosbach’s tone and message. “Just what we need to hear right now – a voice of reason giving us a sense of calm. So glad you’re back on here Captain Lee with your words of wisdom,” a fan tweeted.

Rosbach replied to one of the tweets. “That’s because we will, and we will be ok. And we will come out stronger and better on the other side. I believe this in my deepest soul. Hang in there all of us, it’s gonna be ok.”
