‘Below Deck’: Captain Lee Reveals the Ultimate ‘F**k You’ To the Captain
Want to get underneath Captain Lee Rosbach‘s skin? Dive into the water at night after drinking too much booze. Apparently, that’s the move a charter guest makes on an upcoming episode of Below Deck, which ultimately gets the entire charter bounced from the boat.
Rosbach is furious after the guest stands on the swim platform and then dives into the water. He even warns her not to jump as she drunkenly contemplates diving in. But once she goes overboard, he is visibly angry. “Dolores diving into the water is the ultimate f**k you to the captain,” Rosbach says in a confessional.
“She’s drunk, it’s dark, I don’t need somebody jeopardizing their own life on my watch,” as he talks, cameras capture the guest swimming away in the dark ocean. “That is not f**king going to happen.”
Meanwhile, the rest of the guests are having dinner
A single guest upended the entire charter as the rest of the guests are gathered around the dinner table. As they chatter about the guest who went for the swim, some looked shocked and many annoyed. Some worry that Rosbach won’t “like” them anymore.
Rosbach storms across the yacht, fuming. Deckhand James Hough wonders if he should jump in after the guest and another guest on the swim platform offers to jump in after the woman in the water.
“Like what the f**k,” chief stew Francesca Rubi says in a confessional. “She’s like totally disrespecting Captain Lee. She’s disrespecting me, she’s disrespecting all of the crew. It’s about safety. This has reached another level. It’s just mental.”
Captain Lee lays down the law
Rosbach takes the matter in his hands. He goes to the edge of the swim platform to speak directly to the guest in the water. Rosbach does not want any of his crew jumping in after her and has some stern words for the guest.
The other guest standing on the swim platform apologizes to Rosbach, adding she’s a “super good” swimmer. “I don’t care if she’s a good swimmer,” he barks. “She’s drunk! I don’t need dead bodies here.” The swimming guest suddenly asks, “Can I have some bacon?”
Of course this triggers Rosbach who can’t believe what he is hearing. “You can’t have anything, you need to get your goddamn ass back to this boat,” he exclaims. “Now!”
“You’re pissed at me?” she asks while treading water. He responds that he’s very angry with her and that she’s stepped over the line. She then says she is paying a lot of money for the charter, but that doesn’t soften Rosbach’s stance. “I don’t give a sh*t what you paid,” he snipes back at her.
This charter makes ‘Below Deck’ history
“Your charter just ended!” Rosbach tells the guest. “Now get out!” Rosbach is not kidding, he tells the crew the boat is headed back to the dock. The crew is summoned to help the guest out of the water while Rosbach returns to the dinner table to break the news to the rest of the guests.
“I hate to tell you this, but your charter is over,” he tells the rest of the guests. “She’s in the water. She’s drunk. And she won’t come out. We’re going to head back to the dock because I’m not putting up with this.”
“I’m so mad right now that I can’t even f**king see straight,” Rosbach says in a confessional. “I don’t want to be responsible for someone who’s that reckless with their own life.” Adding, “Get your f**king sh*t and get off my boat.” This is the second time Rosbach ended a charter early. The first time was the initial charter on season 1.
Below Deck is on every Monday at 9/8c on Bravo.
