Although Flumiani quit, Captain Sandy Yawn shared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen she would have fired her if she knew she had put her hands on chief stew Hannah Ferrier. She said that she had never had a stew who was so disrespectful. Adding, “I actually had a captain text me and he goes, ‘Hey I see you had my ex-chief stew on your boat! She’s Lara. She’s amazing! And I went, ‘What?'”

But now that Flumiani has left Yawn needs to replace the position. In a preview clip, she informs Ferrier she’s found a replacement and it is someone she already knows. Ferrier’s face seemingly drops, but were producers playing the viewers? Or does this mean more drama for Ferrier?

Ferrier offers a small hint that it isn’t a favorite stew

The minute after Flumiani left, fans started exploring who will replace Flumiani. Quite a few people suggested Raquel “Rocky” Dakota would be the replacement second stew. But Dakota appeared on Below Deck and worked with Kate Chastain and not Ferrier.

As viewers pondered the question, Ferrier joined a Twitter thread and offered a small hint. “Doesn’t my face give you a hint?!” she wrote. Former third stew Tiffany Copeland, who is now a captain added, “Yeah, it’s clearly ME.”

Other people guessed third stew June Foster. But despite the radio issues (June, June, Hannah), Foster and Ferrier didn’t really have a bad relationship. Finally, several fans had a consensus that has many people thinking Christine “Bugsy” Drake will be the stew who returns.

What could it mean if Drake returns?

Ferrier’s hierarchy issues may continue if Drake returns as her second stew. While the two initially worked together well when Drake was on season 2 of the series, their relationship soured when Drake felt as though Ferrier was laying down on the job.

Fanning the flames of contempt was chef Adam Glick. He was vocal about his preference for Drake and her table decor also impressed the guests. Like Flumiani, Drake was also a chief stew before becoming Ferrier’s second stew. Drake was never disrespectful like Flumiani, but she definitely spoke her mind, especially toward the end of the season.

The Twitter thread lit up with fans wondering if Drake returns. “I’m starting to think it’s Bugs too. Hannah’s look is like “one headache just got replaced by a similar headache.” Bugs was also a Chief Stew-turned-2nd-Stew who thought she could do better,” one person replied.

Another person took Ferrier’s clue and ran. “My guess is Bugsy, because that would be the only person to give you that face.” Of course, another fan had a valid question if Drake returns. “If it’s bugsy i would wonder the question you asked her ‘IF YOU WANT TO BE CHIEF STEW WHY DID YOU APPLY FOR SECOND STEW’.”

The second stew’s identity will be revealed soon when Below Deck Mediterranean airs on Monday at 9/8c on Bravo.
