‘Below Deck Med’: Hannah Ferrier Makes a Wild Observation About Conrad Empson’s New Family Photo
Hannah Ferrier from Below Deck Mediterranean made a pretty interesting observation about Conrad Empson’s new family photo.
Empson posted a sweet family photo of him holding a little girl and a woman is by his side. He hasn’t gone public to announce he’s become a father or married, but Ferrier couldn’t help but make his observation. “This was sent to me today. Her names Hannah – Hannah Roberts. That will literally be my name after the wedding,” Ferrier shared on Below Deck fan Instagram account, Below Deck Above Average.

Ferrier is currently engaged to Josh Roberts, hence the reason why Ferrier commented on the post about Empson. Roberts and Ferrier recently welcomed their daughter Ava and Ferrier currently has her own podcast and yacht training academy. The couple has been in the middle of wedding planning, but Ferrier admitted juggling her career and motherhood is exhausting.
“We always have two glasses of wine, plan the wedding and then fall asleep,” she told Australian publication WHO. “Then we won’t talk about it for two weeks, until we have two more glasses of wine and then we plan the wedding – it goes around in circles [laughs]. Also having a child is such a big lifestyle change, so we’re just kind of prioritizing that at the moment.”
Ferrier and Empson had a short-lived, but intense boatmance during season 3. Empson was the bosun and the twosome were often on Captain Sandy Yawn‘s radar for paying attention to each other and not their jobs. They didn’t exactly part ways on the best terms and don’t keep in touch.
Conrad Empson and Hannah Ferrier are moving on and moving up
Both Empson and Ferrier have seemingly moved on from yachting. While Ferrier recently shared she’d consider working for Captain Lee Rosbach on Below Deck someday, Empson told Showbiz Cheat Sheet in 2018 he planned to explore other avenues.
“I may have to pop back in and get more money,” he laughed. “I do enjoy yachting. But I don’t agree that once a yachtie always a yachtie. I went into it to save enough money, but not always live away from family and friends constantly. I want to have a real life.” He added, “I always want to look at the bigger picture.” Empson briefly launched a house flipping series on YouTube called Conrad Renovates.
Empson returned to the UK and recently launched a fitness app, called Focus Fitness. Empson spent time with family while he planned his next move.
“2018 was an amazing year, one that I never would have even dreamt of! From the people I met to the experiences I had … #Belowdeck being one of them! I’m so fortunate for everything that’s happened,” he shared on Instagram. “With it now being 2019 and some massive plans on the horizon I hope that it will be just as good! A bit late but happy new year to you all, I hope that this new year brings amazing things to you all!”
