‘Below Deck Med’: Jessica More Reveals That She’s Never Been Deceived by a Man Like This Before

Jessica More from Below Deck Mediterranean shared that she truly trusted Rob Westergaard, which has left her feeling extremely disappointed and letdown.

“I’m gonna be honest,” she opened up on the Below Deck Med After Show. “Something that actually really bothers me is that I trusted him, for the first time. I’ve never trusted a man before and I actually trusted him, 100% authentically.”

“Yet I don’t think have ever been deceived the way I have,” she added. “It was extreme intense emotion. I don’t know where that came from. Am I ever going to experience that again in my life? I don’t know.”

More and Westergaard struck up a steamy boatmance, which started taking a hit after More learned Westergaard was texting with an ex-girlfriend.

More seemed to wade a little more cautiously into the relationship. Westergaard quickly told her he loved her, but it took her a moment to wrap her head around it. “I’ve just been going through therapy for years,” she shared. “One of the things that was specific, I had just gotten out of an unsuccessful relationship a few months prior. And just my spiritual therapist was like, ‘Be really specific with what you want.'”

“So I wrote down this list,” she continued. More shared on the show that she manifested Westergaard, referring to her spiritual therapist. “I’m talking about height to wanting him to be like not from the United States, I just wanted someone from a different culture. And he hit every single one of the marks.”

“I remember I found the journal that I wrote it down in,” she added. “I showed him and it was like kind of insane.” She hoped she wasn’t getting into another bad relationship.

More’s understanding was that Westergaard wasn’t really with anyone for the last eight months. “It seems like they were way more closer than that,” she said. “So it was something that wasn’t really sitting right for me. It got to a point where it was like, you clearly weren’t just casually dating this woman.”

Westergaard said he can see how she might view the situation that way. “If I was open and honest like I was obviously communicating, not downplaying or doing anything,” he said. “I made it very clear that this is what I’m in. If you’re going to reach out you’re going to reach out and I’m gonna chat you. I’m not gonna just throw you under the bridge.”

He doesn’t understand why More became upset. “I had that connection with that person,” he continued. “You shared a life with that person. Like who am I to judge and who am I to say anything about this?”

“That was a deep kind of love that I hadn’t really felt about Jessica,” Westergaard said. “I still … I don’t know.”
