The Below Deck Mediterranean Season 6 cast is the most diverse crew to date, featuring a celebrity chef, a former European tour guide, a Disney Princess, and more.

This eclectic group of yachties are (hopefully) going to pull together for Below Deck Med‘s first season during Covid. So they will have to juggle health protocols with five-star service. Plus they’ll need to find time to let loose in between charters. So who is joining returning cast members, Captain Sandy Yawn and Malia White?

‘Below Deck Med’ features 2 crew members who are performers

Yachties on the show are often asked to go way beyond their job description. This includes performing for the guests, which viewers saw during Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 1 and 2.

Thankfully the Lady Michelle crew is fully equipped with professional performers. Stew Lexi Wilson was a contestant in the Miss Universe pageant. And stew Courtney Veale worked at Disneyland Paris. Veale played Queen Anna of Arendelle from Frozen and shared photos during a Disneyland parade. “Anna and Elsa always have a magical time on parade together,” she shared along with the images. Adding, “Please direct any comments to the characters themselves.”

Wilson competed in the Miss Universe pageant after winning the Miss Bahamas title in 2013. During a press conference, Wilson shared that she planned to use her platform to implement a youth fitness program.

Chief stew Katie Flood leads the interior team. Flood has a strong yachting background and, from her Instagram, has a love of travel. “With experience on both charter and private yachts, Katie is no stranger to managing demanding owners and charter guests,” according to her Bravo bio. “No matter how difficult the request, she always manages to get it done and flawlessly.”

Chef Matthew worked for Hugh Jackman and Rupert Murdoch

Chef Matthew Shea is a celebrity chef, who worked for clients like Hugh Jackman and Rupert Murdoch. He enjoyed working for Jackman so much, he shared a photo doing the iconic Wolverine pose with the actor. “THROWBACK. Doing the wolverine pose with HJ,” he wrote along with a photo. He also shared a photo backstage with singer Sia. “Chilling with Sia backstage at idol,” he posted on Instagram. His Instagram is flooded with snaps of a slew of delicious dishes.

The deck team is made up of “can-do” yachties including one who made Below Deck Med his official entrance into super yachting. Mzi “Zee” Dempers comes from a family of yachties and hopes to follow in his brothers’ footsteps.

Lloyd Spencer was pivoting away from his job as a European tour guide and took a chance in yachting. He clearly has a good sense of humor as he recently shared a video leading a deck dance. “Wash down work out practice,” he captioned the video. Rounding out the deck team is David Pascoe who worked at a brain injury rehabilitation center and as a beach lifeguard at one point. Pascoe has a love of adventure as his Instagram includes photos of him surfing and riding a motorcycle through sand dunes.
