‘Below Deck Sailing Yacht’: Wait, Do Natasha De Bourg and Daisy Kelliher Actually Like Each Other?
Chef Natasha De Bourg and chief stew Daisy Kelliher from Below Deck Sailing Yacht may not actually dislike each other. In fact, they seem to get along when they aren’t at work.
De Bourg recently hinted in her Instagram stories that she and Kelliher really like each other. She opened up her account for questions and shared that being friends with Kelliher and other crew members was her favorite moment on the show. She also described Kelliher as a “boss a** b*tch” who is “strong minded and independent.” Sounds like she and Kelliher may have resolved any conflict they had during filming.
Natasha De Bourg says she does not hate Daisy Kelliher
De Bourg received a slew of questions about Kelliher and one person asked if she hated her. But De Bourg replied, “To be honest, I don’t … She’s funny!”
She also offered a reason why she and Kelliher may have clashed on the show. “We are both strong-headed and sometimes we stand for the same things!” Adding, ‘Maybe just not work-related.” Kelliher also shared some of De Bourg’s screenshots on her Instagram stories so it looks like the feeling is mutual.
Kelliher also changed her tune about the Drewitt-Barlow tip amount too. She originally blamed De Bourg for the $15,000 tip. Food was one of the primary’s main complaints and the crew was disappointed with the tip amount after they were run ragged for the extended voyage. But Kelliher backtracked when she appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. “The tip was a result of bad service from everyone on the boat,” she said.
Some crew members are friends but don’t love working together
While Kelliher and De Bourg seem to be in a good place today, Kelliher shared with Showbiz Cheat Sheet that she and Gary King are better as friends than coworkers.
King and Kelliher aren’t seeing eye to eye on the boat. She needed the deck team to support the interior, especially when it came to demanding guests. But he complained that if he and his team were constantly helping the interior, no one on deck would get a break.
Kelliher admitted that King was a lot more fun off-hours than at work. “So I’d happily go for a drink [with him],” she said. “But work-wise he did annoy me, but he’s got a good energy. He’s fun to be around. I think if I didn’t meet him in a work circumstance I’d probably be better friends with him. But I did meet him in a work environment.”
“Gary, that’s kind of a tough one because I actually like Gary,” Kelliher said. “I’d completely hang out with him and go for a drink with him. But I don’t know, you are either gonna love him or hate him. I probably actually sit a bit on the fence, which is a bit unusual because he pissed me off during work.” So maybe this crew truly is more about the love than the hate.
Below Deck Sailing Yacht is on Monday at 9/8c on Bravo.
