‘Below Deck’: Hannah Ferrier Drags Kelly Dodd Again and Fans Take Sides – Including Christine Quinn From ‘Selling Sunset’
Hannah Ferrier from Below Deck Mediterranean said Kelly Dodd’s gleeful obsession with The Real Housewives of Orange County ratings is “sad.” The two had a spicy exchange, but this wasn’t the first time they got into it. And fans are totally here for it.
The latest feud came when Ferrier wrote that “it’s kind of sad” about Dodd’s comment that the Jan. 12 episode of RHOC did not experience a big increase in the ratings. Dodd added that the show had far better ratings last season when she was on it. Dodd fired back at Ferrier, sharing that she is recapping the season. She then referred to Ferrier as a “waitress on a boat.”
Christine Quinn from ‘Selling Sunset’ is Team Hannah
The initial exchange was made on a TV Deets Instagram post. Fans immediately took sides on another post captioned “Kelly Dodd vs. Hannah Ferrier is one Bravo feud that I did not see coming.” Apparently, real estate agent Christine Quinn from Selling Sunset is a Below Deck fan. “Hannah is the BEST,” she added to the post along with heart emojis.
Others agreed. “I love Hannah!! Kelly better not come for her – ’cause Hannah will tell her how it is!!” a fan added to the thread. Another fan wrote, “Kelly went straight for the defense. Hannah made a simple statement. Team Hannah.” A fan also commented about the “waitress” remark too. “Team Hannah… oh can imagine Kelly TRYING to do Hannah’s job.”
Some fans were on Dodd’s side. “God I love Kelly!! So sick of people being able to say what they want to her and when she has a comeback she’s automatically the bad one good for her,” a fan shared. Someone else added, “Love that Kelly. She always speaks the truth.”
This isn’t the first clash between Kelly Dodd and Hannah Ferrier
Dodd and Ferrier are clearly not fans of one another because they’ve had a heated social media exchange in the past. Dodd accused Heather Dubrow’s son of giving her coronavirus (COVID-19) after she attended a New Year’s Eve party last year.
Dubrow demanded a retraction from Dodd, and Dodd posted a video apology. The Instagram account Best of Bravo posted the apology, and Ferrier commented on the post. “If you went to a NYE party with 30+ people then you gave yourself covid you, f***ing moron,” Ferrier wrote on the post.
A fan posted Ferrier’s comment on Twitter, and Ferrier replied, “It’s funny cause it’s true.”
Dodd later acted like she had no idea who Ferrier was when Ferrier’s comment went viral. “I don’t [the] know girl ?? Sorry she feels that way,” Dodd wrote.
Kelly Dodd’s husband Rick Leventhal thinks his wife gets hate because people are jealous
This isn’t the first (or likely the last) social media smackdown Dodd will encounter. In a recent interview, Dodd’s husband Rick Leventhal said he thinks she gets a lot of hate because people are jealous of his wife.
“There are a lot of people who are very jealous of my wife,” Levanthal said on the Behind the Velvet Rope with David Yontef podcast. “She’s beautiful. She’s smart.” He added, “She’s funny. And she has zero filter.”
“She really does speak her mind, and some people don’t like that because they want to be able to do it, but they can’t,” he added. “So they’re mad that she gets away with it. That she gets to do it. And I think that’s a big part of it. I think they’re jealous of her. They’re jealous of her success, and her beauty and maybe her happy marriage, and they come after her.”
