As for what went wrong, sources explained how different Affleck and Lopez are as people. While Lopez loves the spotlight and adores her fans, Affleck wants a private life away from the cameras.
A source told In Touch Weekly that Affleck “complained about the state” of his and Lopez’s intimacy before they separated.
“Even before they separated, Ben complained about the state of their intimacy,” the insider claimed, “so there’s no doubt he’s raring to get back out there and date.”
When can fans expect to see Affleck dating again? The source said he’s not “going to pull the trigger until he’s divorced, but there are plenty of women interested in him. Even Jennifer Aniston has let it be known she’d love to date him.”
Affleck recently stepped out with a new look. And it doesn’t look like he’s allowing his divorce to get him down. The insider noted that he feels “really confident and excited about his new look,” and he wants to “live life again and prove he’s still got it.”

“Jen has definitely had a mini crush on Ben for years, but he’s always been in these very serious, long-term relationships during that time,” the source close to Aniston said. “But change is in the air.”
The insider noted that there’s a “real opportunity” for Aniston to swoop Affleck off his feet. “They’ve never really been single at the same time before, and Jen has been a true-blue fan of Ben’s for decades,” they added. ” … There’s a very friendly and flirty open line of communication between them, plus a boatload of mutual friends — everybody from Jon Hamm to Sandra Bullock, who can totally see Ben and Jen becoming a couple down the road.”
Jennifer Lopez is also ready to date following her divorce, a source says
Ben Affleck might be ready to reenter the dating scene, and Jennifer Lopez is too. A source told In Touch Weekly that Lopez “doesn’t intend to stay single long.” And she might have her eye on her past flame, Alex Rodriguez.
“He’s got a girlfriend now, but J. Lo doesn’t intend to stay single long, and she and A-Rod do have unfinished business,” the source said.
The insider noted that Rodriguez and Lopez had an “intense connection,” and he felt “devastated” when they broke off their engagement. Rodriguez started dating his current girlfriend, fitness instructor Jaclyn Cordeiro, in 2022.
“He insists he’s happier now without [Lopez], but they have a lot of mutual friends that aren’t so convinced, and he’s not married or engaged, so at this point, it’s not beyond the realm that they could reconnect,” the source continued.
